Okay, what animal do you think Ulqiourra will unleash? Every zanpaktou^ seems to be based around an animal or geographic figure where as the shinigami is based on elements.

I'm guessing for Ulqiourra either snake, dragon, or demon

Care to guess his and others?

I'm guessing dragon. His mask looks dragonish.

I think the boob chick will be a snake for sure though, so I'm going with dragon with Ulqiourra, the old guy looks like he could be something aquatic, and the french dude well...you got me.

Dracula or demonlike maybe if Ulquiourra takes dragon?
 
Ulquiora has a small side-horn (or something) on his mask, so a bull is possible too. The neck looks more like a dragon to me, though.

its simply the mask of a Vastro-Lorde.

Ulli-chan's release was already spoiled a while ago. Its dragonish.

Its somewhere in this thread actually. The chapter wasn't spoiled, but there was a tiny pic of a panel with his release form. There was also information about Zaraki comming to save them along with the pic, which later proved to be true.

Yeah, but the vasto-lorde mask is still a part of their true form, and can thus give you a hint about how their release looks.

Not really. Nel's mask has zero resemblance to a goat. She doesn't even have a horn on the thing. Actually, none of the mask we've seen yet really correspond well with what they've formed in to that I can see.

If what you said was the case, I'd feel sorry for Ulquiorra. The only thing his bone mask resembles is a horned armadillo... which doesn't exist. I remember seein' his release form somewhere though and it was like the others said, a dragon.

Grimmjoww had his mask and it looked kinda like a feline, I wasn't too suprised that it was a panther when he released it, nel's mask has curled horns on it when she was normal before she was degenerated by Nnoitra which reduced the power of her release as well as the reason why she cannot stay in her released form for long.

What the hell happened to Yami? It's like he vanished off of the face of the manga, was he killed?

Mind you, all feline type animals have the same jaw construct. I'll leave it at that.
 
I'll admit that one, I'd think Tubo be taking some liberties however as all authors do with their anime.

Aye, it's a good episode. I can't wait until it gets subbed though. I could only barely get the the gist of what was bein' said. Good fight for sure. I can't wait to see Orihime's thoughts on Ichigo's mask. Seein' as the anime and the manga differ a lot, especially in dialog, I'm lookin' forward to it as a separate entity despite knowin' the outcome is positive.
 
well I just read chapter 315, and it's gonna be a very interesting battle coming up :)
and a very large one at that
