Not really. Nel's mask has zero resemblance to a goat. She doesn't even have a horn on the thing. Actually, none of the mask we've seen yet really correspond well with what they've formed in to that I can see.

If what you said was the case, I'd feel sorry for Ulquiorra. The only thing his bone mask resembles is a horned armadillo... which doesn't exist. I remember seein' his release form somewhere though and it was like the others said, a dragon.
As been said, Nel's child mask doesn't resemble a goat, and she wasn't a pure goat, she was half-goat-half-human, kind of. Her adult-mask still had a twisted horn, if I remember right. Grimmjaw isn't a pure feline either. Hence why their masks doesn't directly resemble that of a pure animal. Besides, Grimmjaw's mask resembles a wolf more, so it still hints towards what his release is.

Speaking of which, I'm guessing Apache is either a snake, rhino or unicorn, SunSun a flower, Mila Rose a reptile, and the blond woman just looks kick-ass.

Panther hints toward wolf? Not in my world at least.

There is only one thing that has teeth like Grimmjaw and it's not anything living on this earth now or predicted as living at any point and time on this Earth. Can you figure it out?

I'll admit that one, I'd think Tubo be taking some liberties however as all authors do with their anime.

taking liberties to enhance certain traits about the characters such as the jaw on Grimm, a normal one would not look as fierce as say the current because the teeth are larger, white, and more sharper. This new jaw would reflect well on the bestial-like and brutalness of Grimm's personality.

Still not quite where I want you to be. Keep in mind, to enhance is not to completely change it's to upgrade the already familiar.

I'll extend my invitation to Uzor over to you; There is only one thing that has teeth like Grimmjaw and it's not anything living on this earth now or predicted as living at any point and time on this Earth. Can you figure it out? You'll poop a grand nugget if I tell you but please don't let it come to that :(

i have no idea what you're talking about you might as well say it directly... My point was that the jaw is something modified to a greater extent to show personality and is based off of an animal, not necessarily animals with those classes of teeth exist, more along the lines of if the author uses a certain symbol but modifies it accordingly we can reach the conclusion that it is symobolic of a thing in reality.

The only thing I could think of with teeth like that are dinosaurs but their teeth aren't near even all around, shark would be my second guess but they have mulitple rows, and are much smaller.

Dinos also share an unusually large overbite. If a T-Rex didn't have an overbite his exact jaw structure and tooth shape would fit perfectly. Anyway, the only thing that has a set of teeth like Grimmjaw is Ichigo's mask. Guess my play time is over for now.

You don't get it, do you? Notice how I said he's not a feline. If I'm to play your game, this looks nothing like Grimmjaw's release

Notice how I said it HINTS towards what he looks like. I didn't say he would GET those teeth. I said that their masks hints towards what their released form is. You can't deny that. Its bluntly obvious.

Another comparison

Besides, Nell's kid mask might very well be meant to resemble this

Notice how I once again said RESEMBLE. Not IS IDENTICAL.

FFS not all Hollows have to represent an animal. This arguement's redundant.

i wasn't really arguing i was trying to understand the other side's perspective and relate it to my own, and yes that's true. So far they have inclined twoards an animal or some sort of geography(read: the volcano dude, he's the only exception so far).

Then there's Szareyl who's release was a err...in lack of other words and going on subtitle, a seducting queen or some sort of virus ridden human? Then again a human is an animal as well

No one said it has to represent an animal. However, the arrancar that DO represent animals have a mask or dress (or both) that somewhat resembles the animal's trait. Nell and Grimmjaw are good examples. Then there's also quite a lot of exceptions, which generally seem to be the Espadas that DON'T represent an organic being, such as a plant or an animal. Szayel Apollo Grantz (sp?) is a good example. I believe his mask are actually his glasses?

Grimmjaw is so not a good example, which is my point. His teeth do not resemble any kind of animal what-so-ever. Furthermore, there was no way to predict Nel before she actually turned into her older self. When I referenced Nel I was talking about her little body which is all we had seen until she actually transformed. The whole point of predicting, mind you, is to guess what they are BEFORE they actually do it. There was no way to predict either of these until Grimmjaw transformed for real and Nel reverted back to her normal size. That's all there is to it.

Bleach 166, best episode yet? Definitely loads better than the manga made it seem to be. What'd you guys think?

It does resemble a beast. Resemble does not mean it is 100% accurate. Looking at his jaw, you can clearly see its supposed to resemble an animal jaw. Nevermind that his name strongly hints towards it as well. My point is still valid that their mask hints towards what their release form is. Yes, its vague, but they still hint towards it. The argument was about Ulquiorra's and the other arrancar's released state is, which their mask can hint towards what it is.

Whatever helps you sleep at night. I get you.

No one would've expected that until now. XD Yet its so obvious if you think about his motives.
