Aizen's ability is the ability to manipulate the five senses using his zanpakto^, the above is what people have experienced so far when they've faced him.

Once the sword is released and even if you see it coming you still fall for it, those who do not have all 5 senses ie Korame aren't completely affected by it.

Thus the ability has a superior advantage.

It's not a manipulation of the 5 senses; rather it causes a strong illusionary hypnosis to anyone who has ever, no matter how long ago or anything, seen it in shikai form. It's not useful on Kaname Tōsen not because he's missin' a sense but rather because he's blind. If he couldn't smell but could see, he'd still be ownd.

I thought it was his bankai form? Although, there were some like Ichigo who didn't see it and were still owned, I thought it was because they were totally outclassed.

he only used shikai we have yet to see bankai, still it's funny because he just goes around owning captains with just a shikai versus their bankais

Aizen has over twice as much spiritual energy as the captains. So yeah, he should be ownin' them. How he got that much though, is a mystery to me.

Also, Lavi. Ichigo didn't get ownd by Aizen's shikai form. He never knew who Aizen was before the finally incident nor had he ever seen him or the dead him. The only thing Aizen did to him was outclass him, big time. Him stoppin' blades with one finger and all has nothin' to do with his sword abilities, it's all about his spiritual energy and where/how he uses it.

This upcoming fight sequence is going to be SO much better than I though. I was already pumped, now I'm going to have to smash my head into things to calm down.

nice wig shinji, good thing you took it off and went with your real hair....

that is all

OK so shinji isn't Uraharas son ; ;...and better yet HE IS YOUNGER?

Just curious as to what made you think he was Urahara's son? Wonderin' about your take on their age as well.

I'm also curious as to why ol' Tite numbered the chapter 108 considerin' there is already a 108 that's obviously dated past the new 108. Kinda awkward, like Shinji's do except way less... I thought I was gonna spit puddin' all over my screen when I saw him.

It's -108, negative 108.

I lie how they mentioned "Kenpachi" a lot, and how the Kenpachi's had always been the captain of one of the Gotei's, and why they made it like that. Or did I completely misunderstand it, being 5 AM and everything?

To me, it was a title given to whoever was in charge of that squad, so the current Kenpachi is the successor of the title of Kenpachi (Also, when the captains were talking they mentioned Zaraki would not have been a captain had the former captain not lost; Kyouraku did say he met an untimely demise so I am unsure if he means that the 'Kenpachi' usually dies in this fashion or if the former Kenpachi died sooner than he thought he would).

Kenpachi is the title for the strongest Shinigami in the Gotei 13, and they have always been in charge of squad 11. Basically, the captain of squad 11 is always the strongest captain, and they have the title of Kenpachi.

The current Kenpachi didn't have a name, and so started calling himself Kenpachi Zuraki; because he was from/in the Zuraki area at the time. They mentioned that in the flashback right after Ichigo beat him, when he was asking his sword it's name.

-108?

filler series coming up? That'd be awesome and neccesary since the anime is catching up fast

The chapter was a good read though, kept me entertained...the only thing is i want more ; ; and can't wait a week

Not necessarily the strongest. If you remember in the chapter, Shunsui talks about how his predecessors were all incompetent.

Anyone else thinks Isshin is going to be the 11th Captain? Or the promoted captain.

Also... Kisuke having hollow powers? Could happen. I would cream.

That explains it. I'm sure I've mentioned it before, but I just suck at remembering names. The Japanese names and titles does not make things easier for me >.>

This isn't filler.. it's an arc explaining the activity and personnel of soul society, more importantly the gotei 13 100ish years ago

it's giving us very much wanted information about urahara and the vizards. I don't foresee this being a very long arc, however
