BOL - Check your members some more

Ok, so this agreement was made to allow xp mobs and not held up by BoL? Or was the agreement made informally and after 30 mins the agreement was made again?

Just to note a couple mistakes: If there are 10 mobs in the spawn(I haven't actually counted), you can get chain 4 twice not chain 5 twice. Chain 5 requires 6 mobs.

If they camp center they will get aggro from 2 of the mobs. If it hits them then they let you pull it you get reduced xp. Considering they might kill 2 for self protection, and there's a 16 minute repop, and possibly they had cleared before you arrived...

We arrive at the nice round number, of 8 kills.

That's....2 Chain 3s...

Just food for thought.

On the other hand, if they were pulling everything they saw and you'd gone through 2 cycles already and just managed to outpull them on 8 monsters that's another thing. But be sure of this... center camp = 2 mobs they must kill for self protection. Teleporter camp = 2 mobs they must kill to be able to pull ulli.

It seemed also as if communication was broken down. When did you in fact kill those 8 mobs? Was it towards the start or finish of the xp pre-uli? Was BoL headed towards that direction?

These are all details that are very important in determining guilty here.

And to Atrbiohazard-

BoL is being flamed as a group because they were camping as a group. In addition this was a sky LS activity, camping ulli. You'd have a point if they were doing something non-LS related, like exping. But when you are assembled as a group to follow LS functions you are definately representative.

If someone were to do something like this or the other post from NAFB or NH, you wouldn't see topics saying "NAFB/NH check your members" or hear flaming of those linkshells. Just those people.

uh.. maybe cause other shells like NAFB or NH don't mpk or do stuff that puts them here?

If you want to flame BoL, fine. Not like they haven't heard it all before but don't bring the whole damn LS in because of 1 person.

the alliance there was from BoL. what else do you need?

as we all know, people arent happy....be prepared for shit to roll downhill cuz what comes around goes around. its pretty sad that people are such sore losers and have to try to steal something that was claimed fairly...oh wait if i remember right, one of the MPK'ers said that it was a gil seller party.
hmm

Funny because it seems you're flaming the whole linkshell on what Decidence did. Who was the one grabbing the mobs? Who was the one that mpked/tried to mpk? From what I see, it was Decidence and because the alliance was there, you're trying to flame them on it. If someone of my alliance or party did something wrong, I'd still help kill the mobs in attempt to not kill anyone.

So, what you're saying is that if your linkshell was in an alliance out there and someone did something wrong or grabbed a mob and they helped kill it, your whole linkshell is at fault? Even if it was 1 person grabbing the mobs/starting shit/whatever?

If that's the case, I should of flamed the WHOLE alliance that went to the O-hat run I went on because one person screwed it all up and got us all killed and called for help on someone elses cluster.

Or I should of flamed everyone in the alliance that was killing Amikiri because 1 person MPKed me with goblins while I was trying for a WHM testimony.

Oh. I should of flamed everyone in the party in CN that trained a ton of exorays, soldier crawlers, scorps, nest beetles, and helm beetles to the beginning of CN because it got a bunch of people killed EVEN THOUGH it was only 1 person who trained them when the rest were smart enough to just take the death.

I'm sorry. I still don't see the reason why this isn't a flame towards one or two people instead of the whole linkshell.

So what you're saying is every LS should have 1 member to run around MPKing everyone so they can get the claims they need... and then no one insult them because it's just 'one person"?

Honestly that's just fucking stupid. There's no other way to put it. Fucking... stupid.

Everyone keeps saying "flame the 1 person not the whole LS."

Well what happens when people keep coming and flaming different members of the same LS about daily? There's gotta be something wrong

Not what I'm saying at all. If there's one member running around MPKing, the LS should be informed about it and actions taken. But when someone flames a whole linkshell because of what 1 person does, do you think they're going to take any action when their whole linkshell is being flamed?

That's different. See, if people were flaming different members of the linkshell daily, then there'd be a problem. Then you could talk to the leader about who, what, and why and if the leader doesn't do anything, there's a reason to flame the whole linkshell. I wouldn't be bitching if this were the case but it's not.

It's a flame towards the LS because it was during a LS function that the above metioned activities took place. And it was not just Decidence that performed the MPK, if was multiple members of BoL. If you'll read Decidence's posts you'll see that he didn't actually pull the mobs himself but so called "directed" the actions of the people in his alliance. This causes the whole alliance to become accountable for their actions, and since they are all members of BoL it reflects directly on that LS.

Don't even attempt to defend their actions here because there is nothing that can be said that will change the fact that they MPKed a party to get something that they want. The facts are there plain and simple, anyone who attempts to justify or defend them are just kidding themselves. MPK is MPK. Respect -20

Funny because it seems you're flaming the whole linkshell on what Decidence did.

Actually, according to Deci, it was NOT his actions. Just the actions of those under his supposed command. Which is an important point to consider. Shit may flow downhill, but responsibility goes the opposite direction. While I don't find it necessary to flame BoL as a whole for the actions of any single one of their members, what I do find necessary is to bring up those actions with the people that are supposedly in charge. At which point things can easily start to look like you're flaming everyone in the LS if you're not careful.

If someone of my alliance or party did something wrong, I'd still help kill the mobs in attempt to not kill anyone.

Oddly enough, I wouldn't. At least, not if I thought it was done maliciously. Hell, I've let my puller die on a couple of occasions because he couldn't be persuaded to stop pulling even though the mages had 0 MP, and that's just stupidity.

Basically, the way it works is like this: If one person makes a mistake, a genuine error, that's all on them. No harm, no foul, make it up to the injured party if you can. If one person in an alliance does something morally reprehensible and/or against the TOS, and the alliance then DOES NOTHING ABOUT IT, then they've assumed responsibility for the act themselves.

Which is the root of a lot of people's issues with BoL. There are certain repeat offenders there (Yoshindor, for example) that have done stupid things and yet apparently never been dealt with accordingly.

As for saying that nobody else makes flames against LS for the actions of a single person/party, think again. Yoshindor, for example, flamed NH for not helping him with his own stupid mistake.

NH as a whole took a lot of flames over the Maseki MPK attempt. Search the flameboards and you'll find a number of similar events. WSM likes to flame GangstaReborn because some of the people in the LS don't like him and let him know that on a regular basis. ^_~

Then flame the multiple members and bring it up with WYS and talk to him about it. Read my above post for the rest of this topic.

I understand that. But I also understand that not all of the alliance was in on it. I've asked a few other people about it. Ones that were there, ones that weren't. It was NOT the whole alliance that did this. They didn't follow in his footsteps. A few of them admitted to it, yes. But not all of them were responsible for the rests actions.

If you haven't noticed, I'm not saying MPK is good. Or MPK is right. I don't agree with MPK at all.

Tyrath said:

If you have noticed, this all came up after 1 person started flaming the linkshell and everyone's just jumping on the wagon.

I have no doubt that if that first thing wasn't made flaming BoL, we'd have individual members here. Not BoL. Half of the "problems" people have had with BoL wouldn't of been brought up.

That's you. I have no problem with that. I'm totally different though. No matter it was intentional or accident, I'll help kill it. If it was intentional, they better be ready for a good bitching out when it's dead. I'm one who, even though as a WHM, will flash an elder goobbue and take the death so none of the others in the party die. I've done it. I've also taken MPK attempts and ran them far from my party where they wouldn't come back through and kill my party and taken the death. That's just how I am.

Every time I talk to WYS, NO ONE has took their time to /tell him and give him who, what, where, and why about each member that's been flamed on here. WYS would take action. It's just no one ever /tell him with it.

My mistake. I never seen the NH thread. Even after 99.9% of my posts are in flameboard. WSM would flame anything that he could get away with. I'm sorry but WSM hasn't exactly been nice to me even though I've never spoke to him. My first encounter with him was when I was with 2 friends in Port Jeuno with my bazaar up and he comes up, /check, leaves bazaar then /slap me. o.o;

OMFG people. quit posting so I can finally post this. Every time I do preview, there's new posts. :( :P

True. But until people start informing WYS without flaming the LS first, I doubt it's going to change soon.

Yes, this is just a game. It's not like people are coming to your house with animals that will tear you up and kill you. Yet that's how some people treat it.

Finally! I can hit sumbit!

People have been trying to informed WYS, through these threads, to control the members of BOL. Yet, I have not seen any thing different. BOL continues to have members fuck up.

I am here at school with Decidence right now, and he said he will not post here anymore but I will post what he talked to me about.

From what he told me... the understanding was that when the XP PT showed up the agreement was not officially known by all parties involved, and this is what Decidence reflected in his first reply in this thread.

However, about 5mins before Ullikummi spawned Decidence had told Rolliefingaz they now realized that they were XP'ing on the mobs and would not pull anymore golems. He made this gesture WITHOUT telling the XP PT not to pull Ullikummi (like maybe he should of) because it was his understanding that they would NOT pull him (because Acavar is friends with Rolliefingaz and spoke with him) and this kind gesture was in response to this knowledge. The fact that this official gresture was broken is the part Decidence was referring too when he said the trust was broken.

Furthermore, if the XP PT planned to take Ullikummi at this point, why did they play mute after Rolliefingaz thanked Decidence for the gesture? Why didn't they just say "No, we are pissed now and will pull Ullikummi". Was this no purpose to keep BoLSF thinking they would not pull it so they would have the advantage when it popped.

Krono, your post saying that Decidence went back on his words and proved himself more guilty does not pay attention to the fact that 2 agreements were supposidely made and 2 seperate times. The first post Decidence made was referring to the first agreement he had no idea about, and the trust being broken was referring to the agreement that everyone knew about.

Even if you say that there was no official agreement the 2nd time around from the XP PT's point of view, BoLSF was still lead on to believe from Rolliefingaz statement and his polite thankfulness to Decidence's gesture that Ullikummi would not be pulled when it spawned.

Also, one last thing I would like to add, is that Decidence told me that he thought the PT had only been there a max 10-15mins and that they were not killing the golems that quickly. BoLSF's alliance was less then 10 players ranging from level 70-75 (composed of 2PLD, WHM, 2BLM, NIN, SAM, and a few others) and could not of been killing that much faster then the Lv75 XP PT that was there. But the simple fact that he thought the PT was only there for less then half the time that THEY claim to be there, only further shows the breakdown of communication that lead to this, and the agreement that was not known from the beginning.

It's because WYS does not give a rats ass...
Read his posts on the other threads, He flat out does not care.

The perception is a linkshell full of thugs. If he's cool with that, good for him. :?

Just so you all know... you think this was Decidence's command to MPK them when it wasn't... he wasn't innocent, but he WAS NOT THE LEADER in sky... he was not giving the commands, he did not pull the trains, he did not suicide to kill their party!

He was simply just the one talking in /say as the thing was happening.
