/sigh... Last post on this thread, since people seem to be utterly factional about it.
1.) The XP party thought they had an agreement upon entering the zone
2.) That agreement was not sufficiently communicated within the BoL alliance and therefore effectively void.
3.) After half an hour of (from their perspective) getting screwed on the deal, the XP party came out, and apparently a new agreement was in the process of being struck, but at that time NO MENTION WAS MADE of the XP party not claiming Ulli.
4.) While they're still working out what exactly is going to happen, Ulli pops, Vind claims it.
5.) After numerous attempts to claim steal, members of the BoL alliance get sufficiently irritated to MPK.
6.) Shortly before the MPK succeeds, Vind is kind enough to bring back those wayward mobs that Scwall left behind....
Now, for those of you who say "MPK was justified, BoL had spend 8 hours, etc etc etc"... No. 'Fraid not. Assume you're wandering through the Crawler's Nest one day, looking for a coffer spawn. You've got some friends with you, and you decide "Hey, let's go see if Simurgh is up!". So you wander on out, Simmy pops, you outclaim the campers, who for the sake of this argument have been there for 8 hours waiting for a pop. I strongly doubt that you'd feel the people were justified to MPK you, and you'd probably be here flaming them within the day. By that logic, I could get together a crapload of friends, go down and camp Serket all day, and then MPK anyone who out-claimed me. After all, I'd put tons of time into it. I'd be justified, right?
I think not.
Now... as for the second half of the argument, that the XP party had agreed not to claim Ulli, that's another matter, but given the fact that both sides admit that the whole thing failed from a communication perspective, it's not something you can blame on either side.
Meh, when you get right down to it, the agreement should have been formalized from the instant they walked into the area, and the main failure on that end belongs to whoever in the BoL alliance that was doing the talking initially.
