/brd MPK-ers, yes you Amidamaru

I don't like the /BRDs just as much as the next guy, but don't think its completely necessary to MPK them. I'd be pretty pissed if I was doing it and someone MPK'd me. Just let them sing their songs til the next update and then we all will be happy.

I'm sorry, but like it was said before, no matter what job you are, you can /whm and toss cures around for some decent xp. if youre looking for big chunks, then gtfo your ass and provide to the cause dammit. i mean hell, you say you dont affect our exp by just standing there singing, well let me tell you buddy, everytime you die in campaign, even though you dont lose your exp, the amount of exp you WOULD have gained drops for each death suffered.

For example: lets say because of all your effort, you were to gain 1.5k exp from a battle. Now lets say you die twice in the line of duty (i.e. tanking, DDing, nuking, whatever) that 1.5k you WOULD have gained drops some.

So yes you DO affect our exp thru your inaction. If I see you in campaign, trust me I'll be making a straight line to you for an MPK......FTW!!!!!
 
I've only /BRD to get EXP to close the level for a job where it's absolutely pointless to hit anything. Last night I did DRK/BRD so I could finish off my EXP to get lvl 43. I even went around stunning mobs and try to hit a regular mob (not the leader NMs). Missed it or hit for 0 the whole time it was alive. Only thing that really worked was nuking, drain and aspir.

On a funny side note someone did try to MPK me last night with the mobs but I took my tags off just as they died in front of me.

I know people hate those that just spam songs and magic but also consider WHERE you pull them so they don't kill the actual weakened people on their way back because some of them go in odd directions coming back to the fortifications.

But see, even as /brd, you went and did what you could to help, its those that just stand there spamming songs/buffs that annoy the hell out of us.

Either way, weak ass flame on your part Saintgermain =/ (forgot to add that to my original post).

I never said I /brd on 75s. The people that /brd on 75s in campaign are waste of space yes, and I dunno bout you guys but I'm pretty sure you're gonna cap out at 3k an hour-ish regardless of what you do

If I had DRG/BLU at 75, I'd be out doing that, if I had PLD75/RDM37 I'd be out doing that, SAM75/DNC37 same, but I don't have a very good self sufficient 75, I think the campaign system is flawed, the amount of time I spent resting after nuking on BLM was a pain WAR is lol bla bla


ehh Rappa I thought you knew how close I was to Maat's cap, I have ZERO problems xping anywhere in the game, wheether it's meripo on my fully merited MNK, levelling from 8-20 in Horutoto Ruins if I want to purely solo, nuking worms, soloing gob pets. throwing up /bst and hitting all the BST camps as THF/BST, RDM/BST uhhh hell yeah I've done it

What gets me about all the backlash is --"Hi. I'm a seasoned player, I'm making an educated choice based on experience." The amount of downtime and bullshit AoE's waiting for raise etc it's a pain WHEN I'M DOING CAMPAIGN. Some of you act like this is all I do, like I never knew how to XP before /brd spamming.

So yeah, when update hits and it's broken, I'll be fine, no need to worry about me. My DNC wil go through CN > GUSTAV > W ALTEPA > QSC > GC > QSC > KUFTAL > WAJAOM all over again, and dues to my over 10,000,000 xp I'm pretty sure I'll get by just fine.

Oh, and I probly /brd'ed like.... 60k xp tops, mostly on THF, and the rest for rank-ups and a few jobs where PT ended 3k tnl. I have zero remorse and I still think some of you hardcore mouthfrothers (not rappa quoted above) are really nuts.

Tl:dr I know Amidamaru but I personally don't view this as a failed flame, and my opinion all that's ever mattered to me, barring logically sound counterarguments which then change my opinion, which has not happened today.

holy christ when did I ever rate down. I couldnt give a fuck about qcdn karma or rate ups or anything and I personally throw up a little in my mouth when rate-up circle jerks go on because who the fuck cares? I obviously came to the wrong place, and don't worry sneaky sayo-fuckin-nara, I seriously hate qcdn, but this is something of a dead horse on a real website like bg where we get some KI fags that have drifted over when they got tired of their shitty (now fixed) servers. most allatards thankfully stay put or end up pulling Oulanbator's in spam

honestly sometimes I get a kick out of the fact I'm pissing off people by spamming /brd. you guys sounds like the 2004 QQers that complained about botting EXCEPT oh hai, I'm not affecting you, holy christ, except perhaps as raes mentioned the past-warps (OP's whatever u wanna call them) yes I admit that was a pain and I only hurt myslef bla bla cuz I wanted them too, but seriously, if you guys are so gung-ho then you should be there pumping blood sweat tears and jizz into saving your country bro
 
Sounds to me like Ami was simply being a team player. He was bringing you a monster since you couldn't get off your dead ass and attack one yourself. (joke) Seriously though, solo a mob far far away, team up, zerg, whatever just help out.

I've got something to say about the spammage and the C.A NPCs... it's awfully fucking hard to get our reraise items when the very moment we get our tags... BAM song or spell or something.

I know the spells cause the "Event Skipped" notification and am not sure about songs but if songs cause it to then you are being an even bigger douche than I initially gave you credit for.

You called him fat. You didn't do this in the flame, but you did it on QCDN, and you're kidding yourself if you didn't think it'd make it into this thread. How is that not a failed flame? When you have to resort to personal, real life insults, it indicates your position wasn't too strong to begin with. Furthermore, if your opinion was the only one that mattered to you, why in the hell does this thread even exist?

cuz i seem to be on his blist, wanted to fuck with him a little since he couldnt provide a logical explanation for his bleeding heart video game patriotic love antics

and um... yeah I called him a fatty, yeah I went there, holy crap who cares?

I do. Its inappropriate and unwarranted. It also says a lot about your character, and I'm glad I know that's the type of person you are.

You really dont seem to understand do you? With all the experience you SAY you have exping you have to resort to /brding? Ro re-iterate what Linjah said man, if you dont care what the rest of us think then why the hell did you post this flame (and yes its still weak) up on the board?

And major no-no on resorting to RL attacks mister :nono: be more mature, act your age not your IQ.

Both are easily sufficient to get a ton of points. SAM75/DNC35 is still a viable combo that wouldn't get mpk'd

oh sweet lord, go to ffxiah, my ALLEGED XP experience is spelled out in numbers, linked directly from the SE linkshell community page, you select 'make public' for your job info's missions crafts etc

and perhaps you didn't read everything because I've already said why and when I brd'ed, and why I posted here (I knew he posted here). Believe me I didn't come for the conversation (read: enjoyable conversation). And the only reason I keep answering is as follows. If you're going to continue to think what I'm doing is wrong (fatty comment aside, that's just 100% bad apparently) then I want to at least make sure you see all the points I've noted. If you still disagree then enjoy being wrong.

ehh I agree but my SAM isnt 75, kinda what I was saying. Jakey got badass xp/notes reward as DRG/BLU one of the reasons I'm continuing DRG to 75 after cap

Im not doubting your experience friend, im just saying that with what you claim to know, you should be able to solo or do other things to gain exp that doesnt require the above mentioned tactic.
 
oh nvm, it seems you wrote SAM but meant NIN; well SAM has soboro and I prefer that. Anyway I only did 75s in campaign for rank up, the rest of my /brd was for random xp to get my next level or fill the hours when I was seeking or Gustav BST camp died out and Onzozo was pissing me off -- and you know what, I was watching some anime while I seeked, so kill me:p

anyway fine, NIN75/DNC35 but that still doesnt mean I don't get petrified for the bulk of the time -- tons of notes there <,<
