The content is there (minus the swearing of course) but I think most of the people are just pissed to see /brd leeching exp while we're out there struggling to keep control of the area. If they were helping the cause, of course people won't use the /brd "camp" as a bowling alley.

Hopefully the next update will just correct "injustice" and will let people move on.

P.S.: on a side note, my personal record is 5 ^^

I have a suggestion... I have a side on this argument, and you can probably guess which side I'm on, but that is irrelevant at this point in time. Here's the suggestion: to people who don't like /brd: don't whine about it, keep battling away, or MPK away until the update fixes said issue.

To the /brd's who could be doing so much more (ie meleeing/tanking on their 75 job), don't bitch about being mpk'd; take the hits, deaths, weakened timers and possible waits for raises for being so lazy that you sit and spam a song instead of doing what your job was supposed to do.

Problem, which never really existed, solved. For me anyway, can't beat a bit of MPKing, used to be confined to the ferry, now I can do it in the past too! Oh snap, did I just give away where I stand in this Fiasco? Well fuck...

First off, it's impossible to get Mpk'd in campaign. When you get a tag you voluntarily make yourself a legal combatant in the fight.

Secondly, you're not helping in the fight, while other people are doing all the work to keep it going on longer, all you're doing is just leeching.

I don't feel sorry for them at all.

Its pretty obvious that if you can't hit the mobs and can't do anything but stand around and sing you don't belong there. Campaign was obviously never meant for low levels, much like besieged.

The rest of you- My god.. Yes, He was out of line, but a lot of you are out of line as well. It's becoming really ridiculous. I'm not a fan of /BRD in campaign.. Well, it has it's advantages. I'm ok with someone standing there, casting their 20 or so songs, then going out and beating the hell out of things. As long as you're not switching out tags every 10 songs.. But that's besides the point that I'm trying to make.

I have an issue with people complaining about not helping in campaign battles. Like the /BRD spammers. YET, you wasted your own time agroing mobs, and bringing them over to the /BRD spammers. I get what you're going to say "Ori the the principle".. Well fuck that. I don't care who you are, or what side of the argument you're on. I'm not for MPK on any level. I never have been. If I get agro in campaign, I run AWAY from anyone I see with tags on, because I don't want to accidentally MPK anyone...

This thread pisses me off because of how much everyone is overreacting. Yah.. Saint blew up and said some things he likely shouldn't have. Who hasn't? But that sure as hell doesn't make him the awful person some of you are making him out to be.

The worst part is that a good majority of you are my friends. Guess I'm just disappointed in what is going on in this thread.

however yes I suppose I did sign up to be subject to agro from mobs that don't depop as other mobs would according to game mechanics from the MPK patch haha

I dunno, I guess it all comes down to the people who care and the people who don't, I think Rin is the only one looking at this with some sense, but I think half the haters don't even know what they're hating on

1) not doing anything illegal, I am at the computer, I am using in-game abilities without any support of scripts beyond that of standard macro's (not even windower macros btw)

2) I'm not in your XP PT, so your gain/loss is imo 99% unaffected by me

3) ok fine, the only relevant point I've seen brought up was by Raesvelg who mentioned that we lose areas and the the home nation gets attacked and we can't OP -- however, all you bleeding hearts, doesn't that rally your patriotic blood, fight the power ummmm go Bastok?!?! Do you know how much longer fights would last if lazy /Brds didn't do anything but cure NPC's and generals during fights and between waves of beastmen? If they were making themselves useful in any way than fine.

But when I port into Grauberg and can't even see the NPC that gives the tags, that tends to aggravate me.

I won't waste my time MPKing anyone during a fight, but I have no problem with it in this case. If anything it makes them of some use keeping mobs busy for a minute and keeps them away from the people actually doing the work.

I dont particuarly care about /brds (as much fun as it is to see them die)

However, you as a RDM couldve gotten yourself a TON of points yesterday in rolanberry fields just by curing NPCs BETWEEN WAVES, there wasn't even hate to be stolen. Just a bunch of identical galkas bleeding to death, and you sang them a song.

Its one thing to exploit the system, its another to be completely ignorant of opportunity/

Cure 4 = 380 health gained = 38xp

1 song = 20xp

38xp > 20xp
