I know you don't wont to hear this, but Bama is looking outstanding, and they're playing the best football in the SEC so far.
I feel the same way. The only thing I care enough to worry about this year, Tiger's wise, is can they pull this new offense together in time to beat Alabama in the Iron Bowl. So far, Alabama would be my sure bet but since it's towards the end of the year, and considerin' how well they did against the top defense in the nation yesterday, I like their chances. Next year, Auburn should be a power house.
Also, something I forgot to mention yesterday. The first time ever that one conference has occupied 5 top ten spots.
The new AP poll is also out and it's pathetic. Nope, I didn't make this poll up, it's real, no joke. When you're done laughin' at how stupid it is, read below it.
1. USC (62) 2-0 1,621
2. Oklahoma 3-0 1,484
3. Georgia (2) 4-0 1,475
4. Florida (1) 3-0 1,442
5. LSU 3-0 1,363
6. Missouri 4-0 1,360
7. Texas 3-0 1,174
8. Alabama 4-0 1,132
9. Wisconsin 3-0 1,091
10. Texas Tech 4-0 962
11. Brigham Young 4-0 919
12. Penn State 4-0 891
13. South Florida 4-0 798
14. Ohio State 3-1 790
15. Auburn 3-1 785
16. Wake Forest 3-0 711
17. Utah 4-0 574
18. Kansas 3-1 555
19. Boise State 3-0 363
20. Clemson 3-1 300
21. Vanderbilt 4-0 242
Teams like Texas Tech, BYU, Utah, and South Florida have no business in the rankings until they actually play teams worth their salt. Furthermore, Ohio State who put up ONLY 28 on Troy and gave up 10, to boot, is number 15??? Over a team who lost by 5 points to a great team (LSU). Let's also not forget the royal ass whippin' they got from another undeserving, height wise, ranked team. Vanderbilt should be higher up, I mean, they've played some teams, which is more than I can say about South Florida, BYU, and Texas Tech, Utah again along with Boise state, Wake Forest and Penn State . Right now this chart just looks like an idiot made it on the crapper. Also, I'd like to note, Mizzou, aside from not knowin' what defense is (look at their scores), hasn't played ANYONE this year and struggled with Illinois AND, wait for it, wait for it... Buffalo, who? Yeah, I'm wonderin' too. Also I should note that Oklahoma doesn't play a single football game this *entire* season, unless you're one of these idiots who thinks Texas' team is worth even bein' called a team this year.
As far as this year goes, not like it hasn't been true most other years as well, the best team in college football is the team who wins the SEC championship. Least they play 5-6 good games a season which is more than we can say about these other teams.
