Do a file search on the entire FFXI folder, then sort by date and grab the files that are the recent ones.
 
did u grab all the ffxi files in ffxi folder? if so itll b a bit easier, just unzip and repleace everyhting there instead of lookn what folder to put what file in >.<
 
Oh yeah, you'll also need the folder paths for the files that you throw in the zip, or people are going to be clueless as to where to place them. But my method to finding the recent files will still work :)
 
This downloading shit just keeps getting worse. Now I can't even get past the "Checking Version" thing before I even get to hit "Update" lol ... This just blows.
 
just zip up the whole FFXI folder, that way we can replace the whole folder and itll so much easier to us clueless ppl

If you really want to download 4 GB in data. Be my guest. But I'd rather just download roughly 50 megs(This is assuming SE compresses their files,) and only take 15~20 minutes.

Eight hours of bullshit.

Zero hours of gameplay.

4 hours of QCDN.

Nine hours of insanity.

One half hour of writing and email to SE saying how much they fucking suck.
 
Well... MY screen has been froze on the same file for the past hour and a half. the files remaining bar isn't moving, and niether is the downloading bar.

Oh, but my Time remaining is still working! Just... going the wrong @#$ way. :evil:

Stupid SE is toying with me. I finally get passed the Preparing stage into downloading again, and it downloads 40 more files from what I had downloaded before. Then it timed out on 35.DAT. Now I have 253 files left to download lol
 
alright guys i got em all compressed and whatnot you should be able to jsut unzip this into your C:\Program Files\PlayOnline\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XI if FF is in the default location...

File is about 80 MB
