It's a WoW discussion of people who have been a part of the Quetz community for...as long as qcdn has been around. A lot of them don't play FFXI as much anymore or, play both, like was said earlier.
Doesn't hurt to diverge from the main forum topic every now and then. It's not like there's multiple posts about WoW on the flameboard. We're keeping it in a single thread :>

FFXI is like a baby MMO to me. Kinda like pre-school was for you. It taught you to auto attack 90% of the time, then cure in small intervals and sometimes magic burst or what not. And then "omgz lets kite every1 to no end!!!" Not much skill or strats involved in that.
Leveling in WoW is easier only if youre on a PvE server. Try to be in your 40s or so and running around in any of the high population zones (STV, Tanaris, Desolace) and walk away without a bleeding @nus. Not possible, plain and simple. This one time some 60 mage killed my 40 rogue, so I camped him for 45 mins on my epic hunter, until he logged off. Never again would he gank a lowbie in vain, because he will never know. But thats another story.
Yea end game in FFXI. Well lets see who has the better bot? Oooooor lets see who joins the best LS, because come on, if you're not in the "Good Ls Club" you aren't going anywhere, case and point Spiritzunwhatever, those lovable scamps. End game in WoW is pretty much the same sh!t every day but you learn, and perfect your skills and that prepairs you for your next dungeon.
The point I'm making is that neither game is better, or perfect, but in no way is FFXI the "best and most hardcore MMO ever".

I agree with the OP, and i know I might get flamed by a few alliance players but this is my opinion. Alliance is over come with morons yes Horde have there fair share of them too but if were to do some sort of ratio that measured good players to morons the Alliance would come out top.
The thing i was a bit iffy about TBC is that alot of kids would flock to Horde to play blood elfs, now that TBC i havent really noticed that much of a change on the older servers but on the new servers its like a plauge. I'm currently playing on a new PvP server and the amount of random duels or invites i get per day is mind blowing, my general reply to random duels is that i've come here to level not to duel every moron i encounter. I'll stick it out though, sooner or later all the morons will move on or muster up the cash and transfer to a PvE server because they dont know how to PvP.
