Customer Service Survey on Playonline.com

I WANT A FUCKING PAT ON THE BACK BECAUSE I COMPLETED A QUESTIONNAIRE GUYS.

/em pats you on the back.

Good Taru =)

I also lol'd at the Halo comment. I shown that to a couple guys at uni and they lol'd too XD

I'm doing it now... Anything that might help the situation I'll do...

Done and sent with this in the comments/suggestions box:

Recently, I have noticed various people stating their accounts have been compromised - but not by using third party tools, but rather through keyloggers, spyware, etc being placed upon their systems via ads on web sites.
Also, I noticed people being unable to regain their accounts if hacked or stolen. I suggest that the person with the original account keys would be able to freeze the account and ban the IP that stole/hacked the account. Also, stricter measures to ensure that accounts aren't accessed from too far of an outside source might be that you have to verify further information in order to change your POL password and CC information, perhaps such as proving identity of account holder and original registration key(s) that was/were used for that account.
I suggest tracking the perpetrators who hack/steal accounts, returning sold/stolen items from the original account, and return the account to the rightful owner with a new password and ID number.

You bet I sent one! I'm going to post this on my LS's sites too.

done, tried my best to stay within the too short 600 character limit...

should've been 6million character limit...i had a lot of stuff to say

I had to shorten what I wrote about 30 times.. anyways, done & done. Hate how they phrased all the questions though and avoid any discussion of the real problems.

yeah, trying to make it seem like the questions were responses to problems on the customer side instead of the provider...of course that defeats the purpose of a survey for SE's side....

I went off on em. I used 599 characters in the first box and 996 in the 2nd box.

Shy of cap? Oh you devil you, made your point but showed you had restraint at the same time, classy and smarting at the same time. :P

I have no idea how close to the 1000 limit I got, I typed mind and it went through, as for the 600 limit on, I just kept cutting paragraphs in order of least important til it worked. ><

Lol this has to be the worst survey iv ever seen. All these questions are so specific and questionable. I think my favorite is "The GM SEEMED sincere in his or her dedication to solving my problem/inquiry", and also how they seem to repeat "The time it took for the GM to respond after the call was made" about 50 times.

I dont see a question along the lines of "Has a GM ever solved an issue for you?"

regaurdless, zzzing.

So...
who plays Halo: The Online Game more than Final Fantasy XI?

Done. Wrote in both writing fields about compromised accounts, and the validation process to regain control over said accounts. I also recommended steps to help prevent the problem, but I doubt they'll read it anyways. I wrote over the limit on both so I had to trim it down a little bit ;/

600 characters is just not enough to explain in detail:wacko:

to little space and to many problems

I sudgested making it harder to change password/CC info, That might be one thing I look for in the next MMO i play. If player not protected from hackers, then I ain't playing it.

I'm very concerned about the recent rash of keylogger software on popular FFXI info websites that exploit a weakness in IE software. The people I know who have fallen prey to this malicious software have had their accounts stolen from them by the perpetrators, and Square Enix has thus far been completely unable and/or unwilling to restore their access to the account because the thieves changed the billing information. To me this seems ridiculous, if a customer can prove they are the original owner by providing the CD keys on which the game was registered they should be able to regain access to their account. Having your proof of ownership tied into solely the billing information is giving carte blanche not only to account hackers, but to the resale of accounts in violation of the EULA. I sincerely hope that the current policy regarding determining ownership of the FFXI account is updated to give the original owners recourse if the password and billing information is illicitly altered.

999 characters, lol.

nice fell. 1000 characters...pretty damn short limit right? I wrote about 3 paragraphs(sp) for the GM one(600)
