And the first CS for the Nyzul Isle weapons is in Najas office(coming from a person with both Captain Rank and finished ToAU missions.)
 
Another thing from BG disproving the new staves with the MAB and MACC is
+25 MAB on a weapon is nothing to be excited about. The HQ staff bonus is 15%, not 15 MAB. It only takes 66 total MAB is all that is required for an HQ staff to be equal with 25 MAB. 70+ BLM has a base of 32 MAB, so you'd only need +34 in gear. Any good BLM will exceed this unless there is some hidden effect to the new weapon.

Also... +34 in MAB is pretty hefty.

On my BLM, which was relatively well geared I had:
Genie Weskit: +7
Moldy: +5
Yigit Feet: +2
Sorc Ring: +10
Ugg Pend: +8
Total: +24/+32 with Ugg

Even with Novio, which is the only real MAB upgrade I could have made... thats +31 fulltime(assuming Sorc) and +39 with Ugg Latent.

I'm not very mage savy but how much would it effect blackmagic spells using the new staves without the magic acc that the elemental staves offer?

Pld got a new one Reprisal.
Increases chance of blocking with shield, and reflects portion of blocked damage back to attacker.

After a few math, you won't get impressed by MAB +25. Here is how it works.

Assume Full morrigan+BLM, Novio, moldavite, merits 5/5, sorcerer, Uggalepih, I count MAB +87 so the damage multiplier is :

1.15x1.87=2.1505 with an HQ-staff
1+(87+25)/100=2.12 with this new Staff

Assume average BLM gear, Novio, moldavite, merits 5/5, sorcerer, Uggalepih; i count MAB+85

1.15x1.85=2.1275 with an HQ-staff
1+(85+25)/100=2.10 with this new staff


Assume average BLM gear, moldavite, no novio, ugga, sorcerer, i count MAB+78

1.15x1.78=2.047 with HQ staff
1+(76+25)/100=2.03 with the new staff


Assume average BLM gear, moldavite , no ugga, no novio, no sorcerer, I count mab+60

1.15x1.60=1.84 with HQ-staff
1+(58+25)/100=1.85 with the new staff

Assume Your BLM has crap gear, no weskit, no Z mitts, no moldavite, no yigit blabla. Your are gimped but maybe you don't care about BLM. This staff is for You! Invotory -8 ftw. MAB+32 only from trait.

1.15x1.32=1.518 with an HQ staff
1+(32+25)/100=1.57 with the new staff



Okay so this Dorje is all the better that your gear sucks. It's not better than an HQ staff in most realistic cases. It's safe to say it sucks.

Pretty much. And if your blm gear is THAT bad that this staff is good for you, its probably out of your reach anyways hahah
