It's not so much that I'm defending dawnn as it is I'm calling out a bad and/or lazy rdm. The only camp a rdm, "especially a merited rdm", should be wasting their time without refresh is east ronf (s). So I was assuming 37-39 (assuming before convert as well). Your number isn't including gear which would up that 20% by a little bit, and refer to what I said earlier in this thread about how not to suck as a low level healer.

Just a FYI carste, my basis for thinking the way I do about you has no bearing to the people you hang around with. You have been the one that has been throwing blind accusations left and right, I have simply been responding to what you have been saying. Calm the fuck down. I hope that clears up anything about that. I personally haven't even thought about anything regarding Xean and Zerayla for a while. It was people like you and TWF that have been brought it up in the past. Recently, actually was quite curious about Zerayla's thread in the SAM section regarding polearm vs GKT.

Regarding the whole friend defense thing, get over it. Like I said it was just calling out Neville's laziness. I have been in way too many parties where the RDM is just terrible, makes the pt wait until the have almost 100% MP before the next pull, or alt-tabs from a flash game to find someone dead. Then they act like it's someone else's fault that they're the fuck up (sup severe). Now that you have my reasoning, I'll hold off calling Neville lazy or bad until he posts the specifics because right now my wild accusations are based on clues in the OP and there really isn't anything of substance in there other than it was low level and he's a merited rdm. I'm going to laugh when we find out it was a dunes party.

Again I'll type a bit slower for you since obviously you didn't get it the first 3 times. In that statement you told me that my basis on judgments regarding you, were based upon things that Kelga and Reiyn had experienced with you. I had then mentioned that it was based upon other people, not by what Kelga and Reiyn had told me. This is where I picked up shitty things about you ^^

Again for you, my basis of how I perceive your playing style and attitude was from other's perceptions of you. Ask LolD and Rampagesama, I knew a bit about everyone back when I played, not based upon QCDN but because of their playing style and the way people spoke of their attitude.

Point is, Neville made a request that was obviously entirely ignored. If Dawnn was any kind of caliber player the least he could of done is responded instead of "Forgetting" or "Entirely ignoring" the issue. If a party member continues to complain about an issue, if you have any class, don't you think you should at least address the issue?

And yes I still believe you are in the friend defense zone.

I guarantee that Neville knows more about this game than you Carste, that guy has been around since 1k swords and Affinity. I find it hilarious that you mock his MP comfort zone, because I am pretty sure that he knows it a bit more than you do.

Too much blah blah blah here so I skipped most of it. I would normally defend someone who was in my Einherjar shell, but considering the last thing we spoke about was clearly idiotic, so I'm not gonna add anything beneficial about him.


I will say that it did bug the hell out of me when people kept pulling when I was low on MP. 20% at a high level with refresh isn't too bad. 20% at a lower level with no refresh, is a problem. Also I read someone post about having stupid party chat macros and stuff. Personally, I didn't have any of those but other RDMs with them didn't bug me much. The only time(s) I blisted a RDM(s) was when they had "ALL CAPITAL LETTERS EVERYTHING THEM REFRESH AND HASTED" or when they just had to add a "<call1> Everytime they need to let everyone know they are refreshing" or "<call1> hasting" or even "<call6> Cure3ing ----> Justinp."

Also, imo calling "friend defense" is just another way of saying "I no longer have a comeback so let me just act like I do and call friend defense." Because no matter who you are, if you see one of your good friends being flamed about something you disagree with, you are going to defend them.

I'm sorry, but 20% of a Taru's (if I remember correctly he's a Taru) MP pool is a fair chunk to keep a PT going one more fight. On top of that, if he's a "fully merited RDM" then he's gotta have a few MP merits in there as well. Gotta agree with Carste and say it's a lazy RDM that's flaming someone who would't let him be lazy. I gotta say, I've been in enough PTs with Dawnn to know he pays plenty of attention to other people's MP, HP, TP bar's etc. I'm pretty sure there is more to this story than what Neville said..........

20% of a humes MP at that level is anywhere from 30-60MP which isn't alot.

We had a PL earlier in the party and i got used to pulling at a fast rate

soon as this guy comes in, we went from chain 10~12's to chain 2's getting 5k exp an hour
completely ridiculous

toning it down to that was a bit difficult yeah
so he decided to pull, and we were doing full rests between each colibri

was ridiculous, we were lucky to get chain 2 lmao, AND HE WAS PROUD OF IT!

this guy was being snappy, and i honestly dont care cause i got asked out on a date that night :]
another reason this party was an MP sink ,though, was because we had a member afk for the entire party

the sam's kids were goin crazy or something i forget



but regardless the party was AMAZING before he got there, and when he left, i brougth duskk, a blm who was able to heal more efficiently than this rdm
went back to getting chain 4~5+ immediately after


got everyone their levels and went to bed happy
and i honestly laughed at this post
and at the title even..

i want to know if i should use these, or enkidu's mittens

idk it seems pointless to macro in for steps, your doing a step every 10 secs so that seems rather ridiculous

and there WILL be melee hits going off even if you do macro step gear in, its gonna happen so accuracy for those regular hits is also important

however if the AF step boost is semi decent i may tp in them over enkidu

id rather just pick acc whore gear and stick with it

but as dnc main, and soloing for long periods of time, i can say that i really havent had problems landing steps on stuff, speaking from af hands vs enkidu's mittens difference



maybe if i did more endgame id use the af hands but still its blah i hate blinking that often

Also, there is an option on a laptop to turn off a lot of the excess particle effects and graphics; I had to turn a lot of my effects off so I could run Dynamis cleanly.

Objectively, I feel bad for you if your machine takes several seconds to load a gearswap.

Actually, no.
What I said was "Please don't pull unless I have over 300 MP."
This was after MULTIPLE times saying that the pulls were happening too fast.
Reasons:
1 - We had an AFK guy, who I didn't bitch about. Wasn't my PT, not my place to say.
2 - Both the tank and I were close to, if not completely, out of mp after most fights.
And since I actually didn't want anyone to die, yeah, I'd opt for safety over leet zomg superXP any day of the week.

If we don't have the damage to take down mobs fast (I.e. someone is AFK), then yes, more MP is required than typical.

Yes, its incredible how a sub-40 RDM without Refresh cannot compare to a 75 PLer.
Clearly I suck. Also, are we referring to the same BLM who showed up BLM/WAR and then you pulled immediately after we killed one colibri saying "Now we will go fast"
and the tank promptly died because both of us had 0 mana and, once again, you failed to perform your basic duties as a puller by checking to see if your healer was ready?
You did? Got it.

And as a RNG 75 and THF 75, it's pretty much standard to make sure your healer has SOME mana so people don't die.
If you don't, it says you're either terrible at your job, or a douchebag, if not both. I'll leave your exact classification up in the air; wouldn't want to typecast you.


As to the questions of why I would post this when the guy is in my guild: how is that relevant?
Yes, I did just join RoR, but I haven't run with them.
Maybe the guy would have been less of an ass if he had met me before, but who knows.
If someone is being an obnoxious and/or terrible player, I'll express it. If my new LS's leadership has a problem with it, that's cool.

And the comment about how I should "just merit" is silly. People bitch about racist or stuck-up JP, but there's a great example of the same from a NA one.
I don't have hundreds of hours to throw at the game; I enjoy just playing, even if it isn't a super-incredible-ultimate-20k-per-hour merit party.
If you want to be elitist and one of those players who screen the party list before joining, more power to you, but that doesn't make you a better player or me a worse one.
