Death Note dub to air 20th October on [adult swim]

I have personally never seen nor heard of Death Note before it came to the Adult Swim, but after watching the first episode I fell in love with the series. I even went out and read all the mangas (borrowed from my brother's girlfriend lol).
 
The anime and manga are pretty close. Closer than most anime versions of a manga series. Few things are different but over all the same and good :P Death Note and Cowboy Bebop are easily the only anime that I have any obsession over XD but that's prolly cause they have good characters, cool plots/story, good music, and doesn't go on for a billion episodes.
 
I'm still waiting for the series to be aired in the UK. I have the 12 volumes so far, just waiting for the final 13th volume called "How to read" which should be out later this year.
 
Yeah I fell in love with Death Note ever since the first time I saw it, JP with subtitles. There's a director's cut too, with about 10 mins of extra scenes, with a bit of a different ending.
 
This show is turnin' into a total snooze fest. They need to either end it soon or pump up the jam. I dunno how much longer I can sit around watching a bad iteration of House gone detective.

Some of them. I never got interested in it until it started airin' in dub form on Adult Swim. Basically, I keep my T.V. on Cartoon Network when I'm gaming on my PC. Whenever Deathnote started showin' I increasingly gained interested and now, I want to know the end but not enough so as to make an effort to watch it online.
 
Just keep watching then. Death note is an amazing anime. All animes have their slow parts, just keep watching and enjoy.

yeah, plus this anime is releativly short. Around 36 episodes and 1 3hour special.

So in the end they kept the ningen fucker/sucker stuff, but just didn't translate it huh? lol
 
Yeah, it's kinda hard to understand what he's saying, so I guess they didn't think anyone would tell. Plus, they made up a bullshit translation for the subtitles of the song, since it's not showing human sucker, human fucker.

Yeah they kept it, but changed the lyrics in the subtitles lol.
