I'm not sure what caused the 200-300% jump over Christmas, so i don't see why it would reverse itself...

Maybe that's all it was (combined with a lot of players having a lot of free time), but I've never believed that gilbuying was high enough to triple the price of every high priced item in the game over the course of a week....
It'd be sad if I was wrong...
If they're all in on it, why would they have 8 SH's up at the AH now? Next person that goes to sell their SH sees 8 up and says "oh crap, I need to undercut if I want to sell this" Then they look at price history, which has gone from 16M for 8 sales to 15.5M to 15M and say "oh crap, price is really dropping, I better undercut really big."Maximilium said:....Or, those bastards might be all in on the game and WON'T undercut just so they can keep the prices the same. Take a look at the oil companies. We don't have an oil crisis as big as before, but I'm still paying $2.33 at the pump!
This makes me laugh, how do you know this?Strid said:Be sad then. Every place that offers power leveling were jam packed and most gil/gold selling companies were in short supply after Christmas.
Are you referring to this thread? Tell people deflation is coming, and they will think it is, leading them to behave in a way that causes deflation?Dez said:I'm not sure this will work, but I applaud it as the best idea for reducing inflation I've seen so far. At least some people on this world have their heads screwed on right.
