Who's to say Blizzard just doesn't want people making money off their property names if they aren't also getting compensation? I'd do it.
 
I bought Diablo I, played for about 15 minutes and never played again. Didn't do it for me. Gave it to my brother. Bought Diablo II, hoping it would be different. Didn't do it for me. Gave it to my brother. Either the third times the charm or my brother is about to get a new game.

I watched some people play Diablo 2, but I personally have never played any Blizzard game.
 
Played 1 completed it...played 2 completed it too, with expansion done too...Do you guys think it'll be like 2, or will they attach crappy monthly fees? if they even decide to make it.
 
really? that I didn't know.. hmm.. I thought it was still the original people at Blizzard (minus the group that left for Flagship, hehe.. but I mean like.. founder and such still there :P)

But I dunno.. I still don't see why they wouldn't make a new one XD I mean... look at Diablo II and its cult following still :P
 
Blizzard is part of Vivendi who was bought by Activision. Huge new boss, and that usually means a huge restructuring of resources.

I've seen my friend play it though...
Would I play it? Probably not...Why? because FFXI has already consumed most of my time.

yeah, I will never (not for a long time) take up another MMORPG unless its mind bogglingly awesome, or free, both of which will probably not happen for years to come. Well, free MMO's are around everywhere, but they blow hard... (lol, blow hard... Mario Party)

But anyway, if what is said is true (new bosses at bliz) then they may make a Diablo 3... And if they do make it, it will most likely require payment, because new people these days want money, and lots of it... Greedy bastards, the lot of them. Wanting money for every nook and cranny in anything they can dish out, which I understand, but sometimes it gets out of hand and/or breaks tradition.
 
Diablo isn't really your classical MMORPG. It is easier then FFXI to just pick up and play whe nyou have time. FFXI mostly requires a large time slot of 2+ hours ever time you want to play, whereas you can play Diablo for 10 min solo (but online) if you'd so like. I loved Diablo II, but it didn't get me anywhere near as addicted as FFXI have. Diablo is like mushrooms, but FFXI is coke.
 
They arent starting it now cause they are building Starcraft 2 up fight now.
 
Blizzard said in an earlier interview that they were working on several new projects, one of them being another MMORPG. One of the projects were later revealed to be Starcraft 2. That game, however, is not an MMORPG. Diablo III, on the other hand, is. With Blizzard taking over the Diablo III website, I think chances are rather large they're working on Diablo III.

Just because they have revealed Starcraft 2 doesn't mean they don't work on any other projects besides Starcraft 2.
