I thought it was really cool of square to try something different. Real people in CG? That's neat. I thought it was wierd that they got an english voice actor for him when he can speak english.

Oh well, I'm still trying to make sense of it. Did you guys notice that the placement was all opposite to another feathered friend? :O

I agree :P but there were supposed to be two ultimate SOLDIERs like that and G is the experiment before S, supposedly

Yeah, but G was bested by a single SOLDIER it says. Y halo thar Crisis Core? It's supposed to expand on G. I think S is dead, but his last line in AC was a bit... prophetic? Nomura (the director) says he wants the Compilation to go out with a bang.

Lol yeah, the last line from him in Advent Children. I personally think FFVII series can't have a good ending unless the final final confrontation is Cloud vs Sephiroth. Theres no other way around it IMO.

But it seems there will be more stuff on G and Weiss in the future. I'm guessing Weiss isn't completely out of the picture because of G's words and actions :P

This could only be done in an original RPG. I can't see any other way around it. Two One-Winged-Angels? They need to form, or something. Wouldn't that be crazy? The Jenova Cells along with the Genesis Substance working together. Geniroth? Sephesis? The possibilities are endless.

you have to find all three 'G-Reports.' I was only able to find one my first time through, and I'm having trouble winning on ex-hard mode, so i don't know where they all are.
 
OK, I'm gonna post the location of the 3 G Reports here.

NOTE: IF YOU'D RATHER GET THE G REPORTS YOURSELF, DON'T READ FURTHER.



Now then.

G Report # 1

Chapter 8B
Its called something like "The fight for the Central Complex"

The G Report is on the third map. On the second floor after the mission "Avoid the flying mines" go to the path at B10. This is off the main path, and you have to crouch to get past the door. But before that, you have to do a short mission where WRO members try to break the laser gate thingy and you have to shoot the DG members who attack them. Once past this gate just go to the end and you will find G Report #1 along with a bunch of other stuff.


G Report #2
This is in Chapter 10. Don't remember the name of the chapter but yeah...

The G Report is on the 9th map. It is at N10. Not really too hard to find.


G Report #3
Chapter 11. "The Beginning"

7th map. There should be a platform thingy at the middle of the room that brings you up when you step on it. I believe the room has an endless supply of enemies so watch out for that. Anyways from the platform jump off to the sides onto the pipes. The G report is at the upper left corner of D6.

Thats all. Now beat the game and enjoy the G Ending!

Havent got to play for a few days cuz my PS2 started getting disc read error again -.- I wanna do all the extra missions and beat it on extra hard ;/
 
as far as gameplay goes it's about like playing devil may cry w/o having a sword...the story was decent imo and the CG scenes were wank worthy (as they usually are in FF games). was kinda disappointed at the lack of time (and play *tear*) the old VII characters got...but all in all it was a fun 6 hours of play

I dragged the game out to 14 hrs =P
 
my time was around 11-12 hours if I remember correctly. And that's about 8-9 hours longer than it takes me to beat a Devil May Cry game :P
 
SE is handling FF7's sequels and shit very poorly. They're trying all this experimental stuff they've never done before just because they know it'll sell. It's low...They're never gonna have another FF7 to build off of, and they're kinda screwing the pooch imo.
