PSP Dissidia II: Final Fantasy

yea im trying to get used to lightning as well, Cloud is pissing me the hell off D=.

I turtled Cloud.
Block -> assault -> run. Keep going until I built up enough EX meter to EX Burst. Proceed to Rapetown.

Oh it's out now? :O fun.

Getting used to Lightning, just rocked her through Arcade Mode - Hard, though I had a few rough patches, hate hate hate hate Emperor and Kuja.

Otherwise, now all I gotta do is beat arcade-mode hard with everybody else in Prologus, including Cloud, whom I have yet to unlock, since I haven't encountered Tifa in arcade-mode hard yet.
Well, will have to do his normal arcade mode too when I unlock.

Anyways, 56 chocobo colognes into the main game isn't a bad thing.

Odd....Eb games didn't call me. There a collector's edition or just a basic copy?

It's Prologus, the DLC/demo for $2.99 on PSN (not in EU til next week though), features Chapter 00, a prologue featuring Lightning leading up to the events of Duodecim, it's rather short, but fun.
The actual game isn't out until next week for NA, and only a standard edition for us.

The best part is the arcade mode, especially hard.
You can use Lightning, Kain, Jecht, Garland, Sephiroth, Warrior of Light, Kefka, and you can unlock Cloud by defeating Tifa in arcade-mode hard.
There's accomplishments which give you Midgar slums flower/chocobo cologne x 56 which you can transfer over to the main game, and you also get the exclusive Aerith assist DLC to use in the main-game.

Ah, I see. Well balls then cause I'm too busy playing Tactic's Orge to want to play a Demo D;

Oh man what am I gonna do with all this CHOCOBO COLOGNE

How much space does the demo take up?

240~ish MB, and the Aerith assist is like 400~ KB.

And Xali, import it over to Duodecim, and use it for level ups.
I plan on importing everything over, so I'll retain the original character levels/abilities, as well as PP catalog, AP, accessory slots, player icons.
You can choose to just import the menu stuff and not levels/abilities too.

But the newcomers will start at 1, the colognes give 1 level up, so you could level someone to 57, you could split it between the newcomers, or just keep them in the inventory.

Oh and, Prishe VA doesn't annoy me like I thought it would, I actually like it.

Sounds like Tara Strong.

And for people wondering where the English version is coming from, the EU version leaked a week and a half early, unfortunately.
The first one had so many pirating it I'm surprised we even got a sequel, hopefully it still sells well enough.

Been playing for 2 days now. Found out something that pissed me of more then fighting Onion Knight.

That would be fighting Onion Knight, when assisted by Cloud of Darkness. >.< Pissed me off so bad, I wanted to take it out on my DS copy of FFIII. XD

Stupid Media Go >.> won't stay the fawk open. Seems to be having issues on my computer :\

I'm still pretty upset they didn't include Fang in Dissidia D:

So wait, you have to do ALL the achievements to get the cologne and stuff? boo....

No no you'll just get as many colognes as you have achievements.

List of all the new VA, and Gilgamesh is not DiMaggio, so the VA gets props cause a few times he had me fooled.

Kain - Liam O'Brien
Tifa - Rachel Leigh Cook
Laguna - A. V. Kennedy
Yuna - Hedy Burress
Vaan - Bobby Edner
Lightning - Ali Hillis
Prishe - Julie Nathanson
Gilgamesh - Keith Szarabajka
Aerith - Andrea Bowen

Ya, but to get ALL the colognes you gotta do ALL the achievements? Man I don't have that kinda free time XD

Well it's not like it's insanely difficult or anything.
Beating Arcade mode, man. What a challenge.

it is when you have so little time to play :P and if you had time you can't play cause you're not at home and your PSP has an issue with the battery not sitting right so it doesn't actually really connect to the PSP so you have to stay on the charger >.> :P

I'll just play it in full when my PSP is back from getting fixed and then go get Dissidia 012 or whatever. Ah well, guess I'll at least get to play my Golden Sun finally when I get a DS soon.

The question now remains... do I get FF4 for DS or for PSP? o.o
