Dnc Sucks

You should watch out. Apparently SE is banning people for powerleveling.

It's ok. I'll buy another content ID, come back two weeks later, and poll the QCDN populace on which job I should level (choices are ONLY Puppetmaster or Summoner, because I'll show u we can do teh dmgs!!)

PUP can XD no word of a lie to this. Yesterday while in pties, coz i won't be able to pt for a while (read: fookin summer school) I out damaged the BLM and then later on the Ranger. I even tried one out with Khidir's 60 smn and beat his water II with my stone II, even though it was for 5 damage it still beat it lol.

I also did the same thing with the Blm, and we both cast Water II and Quattro Came out on top.

Comparing single nukes doesn't really tell you a whole lot XD

That's kinda like saying, drk is better than so and so job, cause my ws just did more than yours.

Who wants support on endgame mobs that relies on TP? And uses daggers with no SA/TA bonus to boot?

Dnc gives a lot less tp than war or drk, it's called Subtle Blow III, and the fact we use daggers contributes to that. Lower delay = less TP gained and FED to mob. Fafhogg or any other mob where feeding it tp is an issue? /sam for Meditate, steps can be applied while facing away from the mob (not hitting it, so no tp fed) and reverse flourish back the tp lost once moves are gained. The whole tp feeding argument really doesn't work though if you have 20-30 people already hitting on a mob anyway.

Yes, I forgot about /sam, I'll concede that, but unless my math is wrong, compared to someone using say, a Horror Voulge with no Subtle Blow (My math may be off but it looked right when I did it >.<) you're giving the mob more TP to 100 (although granted, you don't have to go all the way to 100%).

Shh...let him have his fun, it'll be awhile before he outdoes Shiva on 794 Double Slap(ep mobs of course...)

Please remember all SMN nukes are based on avatar TP.

That is all

Did the math myself as well, factoring in Subtle Blow from Rajas and Dual Wield from Suppa as /nin. Tp given per minute with my set up = 83.9. Horror Voulge with no Subtle Blow gives 119.7 tp per minute, assuming all swings on both connected. If you add Rajas to Horror Voulge, it drops to 113.7 tp per minute. Does not factor in any multiple hit procs, but that would only skew the numbers higher for war using Horror Voulge.

I'm noting you didn't even do calcs for a comparative scythe, say the Mrc. Captains or Mutilator?

New tagline:

Dark Knight - Feeding Mobs so much TP, we don't get included on TP calculations.

:D

I can if you wish, but am running late for work atm, so I'll have to do itt later. If you want to calculate tp per minute, take 3600/weapon delay to get attack rounds per minute, then multiply that times tp per attack round.

No, that won't be necessary lol.

Oh the irony!

The fact dance doesn't use tp and feeds the mob some is made up for the fact the reverse flourish gives us practicly double the tp we use back.

As to violent flourish missing often? With lv 2~3 quickstep and my acc gear, I sit at roughly 95% acc with it. And Haste Samba I personally feel is a stacked haste on its own. Here's why.

First hit, gives +3%. Each succesive round adds another 1% haste. The moment it loses the samba due to a miss or casting of our abilities, it gets reset to 3%.

How did I coem to this conclusion? When Trioing with 3 other dancers, all of us with haste samba and stacking quicksteps, we noted our attack speed would slowly increase through the fight. I see it as a similiar concept as the steps, each use adds another level, this one capping at roughly +10~15%. Seeing as how there were three of us, the monster would be in a constant state of haste daze, never giving it a chance to reset to 3%, thus it just kept building and building.

By the end of the fight we had the attack speed of borderline hundred fists. Not even joking. But to pull it off in a pt would mean the dancer would have to succesfully hit the mob for roughly 20~30 times in a row without missing once. Which of course is nigh impossible, so the other option is having like 3 dancers in pt, which is ridiculous considering the extreme lack of DD that would mean.

ALSO dance does have its own SATA. It's called Building Flourish and Wild Flourish. These two moves have a very similiar damage mod increase as sata does.

Building adds 30% damage to next WS, Wild makes next WS instantly skillchain. Combined you can do a dancing edge akin to a theif's viper bite. The downside? It's a friggin WS so I'd only recommend doing this if you are not the only dancer in the pt, or the healer can take over while you regain TP.

I'm hoping SE allows us to merit our finishes, mayhaps icnreasing maximum finishes to 10? Then we could have leftover finishes to pop reverse flourish and get right back in the action.
