Does DEX affect critical hit rate for Rampage?

"Delivers a fivefold attack. Chance of critical hit varies with TP" is what description says for Rampage under the menu, so we know that TP affects critical hit rate for sure.

But my question is how about DEX, and other things like raised critical hit rate in merits, +6% critical hit weapons, do they affect Rampage's critical hit rate as well?

DEX or the rare/exc weapons that add crit hit % will increase your chance of a regular critical hit. It will not increase the chance of a Rampage critical hit.

Basically, during your 5 swings, you have a chance to do a regular critical based on your DEX / gear, or a Rampage critical based on your TP.

From what I've seen / speculated, Rampage criticals will do more damage than DEX / gear-based criticals.

You can still critical hit normally during Rampage, but Critical Damage Weaponskills see a far greater increase in critical damage than a regular critical hit.

A regular critical strike on a rampage hit will give a small boost in damage(+whatever you get from doing a normal critical over your basic melee,) but if Rampage's inherit critical hit kicks in, the damage boost will be much larger.

Thx now I get the idea, there's two type of critical hit for Rampage:

1) Regular Critical Hit, Based on DEX, gears etc. Boost DMG normally.

2) WS Critical HIt, Based on TP onry, Boost DMG greatly.
