Dumb people in Campaign Battle

Go as rdm/whm and tank, it's a lot of fun.

I usually solo and tank limitedly very well just using full buffs and full debuffs on the mob and use blink as ghetto clones, works like a charm.

I haven't really seen a lot of bad whms out there most or anyone that can raise does usually including myself, it's fun though walking and start fighting then step over one body then another...and you see a dogpile of dead people from a bad pull.

On a side note I've been using my smn for exp in campaign and it's sweet only wish I had elemental siphon=/ but I get 500-900ish in a decent fight and with only 7,600 each level it's not so bad.

I like to go RDM/WHM for campaign, but since I continuously lose EXP playing Bard, I usually have to go that (until I feel safe a 5k, and then I say "fuck them, I'll survive lols). Even after the update, I can safely survive against any non-leader mob. One thing that's fun to build up points is to leave stoneskin down.
One thing I've been doing lately is campaigning on my SCH while seeking a party. In a place like Gustaburg where NPCs pop up like weeds, Accession + Protect II builds a lot of points.

Really? Thats quite interesting, I stll dont totally understand how the issued points in campaign works, I usually get anything between 1400-2400 a battle depending on length and if I'm knocked out awhile as Pld/Whm. I was swearing by stoneskin though, it was the only thing saving me from some of those boss mobs there.

same, how well do you fare without stoneskin in terms of survivability if you're trying to get points? Non-leader mobs hit harder and have more def but they're still level 60-70ish mobs in other terms since they don't resist anything really.

I'd only try it until I had a good spell int down set.

An evasion set works well. Even if they get me down to orange, they don't interrupt me enough to cure myself to full.
Of course, mistakes happen. But not often enough that I seem to get less exp from it.

Was just trying out the SMN buff AoE in Campaign thing... my SMN is kinda low, only 38. got a tag and before I could get a RR scroll... died to an AoE from one eyed Gwajboj being fought at the Arbiter.... Now I'm so conveniently hidden no one shall find me....

I encourage my friends to bring out lower lvl jobs, I will work my ass off to help them get the exp.

Well, if you got tags and promptly died (so it's not like you've had a chance to accumulate some points), you *can* just HP. Aside from the annoying trudge back to campaign, there's no loss otherwise, due to no exp loss with tags up.

I apologize if this has already been answered but I'm getting tired of digging to see. E-Peen is basically Ego, or "E-penis" I have ran across several asshats in my two years+ playing who thought they were God's gift to w/ever and it has always been said that their E-peen is bigger than a Dhalmel or w/ever XD

Nah was just mucking about to see how the AoE buff thing works. Not too bad, just casting a couple of buffs on enough NPCs can get me quite a few points. Just a tad too fragile.....

When I go to campaign, I am pld/dnc. ... At any rate, learn how to take care of yourself and when it's really needed there might be someone there to back you up. If not, tough shit...

That's pretty much my attitude in Campaign. I'm always happy when random mages cure or haste me, but I don't go in expecting it as my due. Leveling DNC was the best decision I made, because MNK/DNC is awesome.

I haven't really had problems with mages in Campaign, though. They tend to throw cures my way when I'm tanking a mob, and I very rarely have to wait for a Raise when I fall.
