If you're going for a specifc theme, the 2nd 3rd and last one are good. She's smiling in the first shot, so kind of messes up the whole "despair" thing. I'm not a fan of the up close shot, too much detail on that "nighty" she's wearing, for me the focus kind of goes there. The up close would have been more succesful (IMO) if that nightgown had none of the lace at the top, you know, just pure silk or whatever fabric it is. With the far away shots you don't really notice that detail, so it works well.
The second shot is beautiful, DW. In a way, it is a little disturbing, because at first you're not quite sure what you are seeing. I also really liked the third one, for some reason Rinoa from FF8 jumped into my head, lol.
The last one for me pegs the "despair" theme right on the noggin. There's something about it that screams "sad". I like the brightness from the gown against the somewhat dark background. I'm not very knowledgable about photography, but the lighting looks pretty good in all of them. Two thumbs up DW.
