Fellow BLU, help me out!

I've never been too saavy on the Outer Horutoto ruins. They were never very interesting to me, and aside from having to have to do a mission or two down there, I avoided them like the plague.

But oh no! Bludgeon is an awesome ability. I have to go here to get it? Therein lies the problem. I tried fighting those weaker Cardians in the norther tower in East Sarutabaruta last night (the 'Two of' and 'Three of' ones), the area where Dio and Gog and Bomb King spawn. None of them used Bludgeon, only Deal-Out, which blows.

I check .somepage and .allakhazam, and both of these tell me to go to the Outer Horutoto Ruins to fight the Cardians for Bludgeon. So I will assume for the time being this means the 'Four of' types and the 'Five of' types (Level 10-13 and 15-19 respectfully). So this is my first question; are these the types I should be fighting to try and get Bludgeon?

My second question is; in which of the towers (and where on their respected maps) will I find these 'Four of' and 'Five of' Cardians of whom I can gain this ability from? Blastbomb, Bludgeon, and Cursed Sphere are all I need till 20 or so (Im only 13 so far), I just want to get them all out of the way.

I actually got bludgeon from the lower level ones. If i remember correctly, I went to the northern tower in East sabatarutaru. Spell gathering is all random anyway. Good luck.

When I went to get Bludgeon, I just went into the outer horutoto ruins in West Saruta, the one nearest the exit from Waters. I only had to fight one Cardian to get it too, they can be {Too Weak} to still learn it also.

{Bastard Sword}! I must've just done something to piss the Cardians off. They refused to use any move but Deal-Out 20+ times ;_;. I'll try again later, then try the tower Dirzain suggested. Thanks for the help!

I also go bludgeon from the ones where those Dio and bomb NMs spawn. I got the 2nd card to use it and learned it ;x Just random for everyone

I have the same problem veovis so..your not alone only they used it often and my elf didn't learn it.

Metallic body took awhile as well

Going to try getting it again later on maybe after i get sprout smack

Lol took me 30mins, roughly 4 dhalmels or so, spells are just random though, I'm sure I'll hit a bad patch soon enough.

I seem to learn spells after the mob uses them not when it dies. I only learned two spells via after mob death

As far as I can tell, all cardians have the possibilty to use it. And from what has been speculated (or has it been proven?) you can learn abilites from tw mobs if the mob wouldve given you exp in relation to the spells lvl of use ( i.e. don't think you can learn Self-Destruct(50) from a bomb that pops in East Sarutabaruta, but you can learn Metallic Body(8 ) from any crab in the game, regardless of your lvl or the mobs lvl at the time). I learned Bludgeon from the first spot you went to, was actually very lucky on it, first one I killed used it and I learned it, lol.

Took me from lvl 16-18 exp'ing (solo) to learn that damn spell, lol. Though I dont think any have ever taken me more then a couple nights camping.

I feel so retarded. As soon as i logged in, I'm still in the ruins (yay.), I fight the first Cardian I see. Sucka musta had Meditate or something, because before I even got him below 75% (this was a TW mob mind you, I hit him once) he used Bludgeon and I learned it.

I got Healing Breeze thanks to Zephayra and her awesome PLD ways. She helped me killed a few Tough dhalmel and we got it after the fifth or so kill. Blastbomb is the one that sucks for me now. lol.
