PS2 was only 2 years old when it came out in Japan, and 4 years old when in came out in NA. If FFXIV actually is released in 2010, the PS3 will be 4 years old.

And to date has no game using any where close to its full potential. PS3 is harder/more expensive to code than XBOX360 when it comes to using all of the console's resources. Developers don't want to dump more money into PS3 games than they have to.

I pronounce it So ja, which in hindi is the command to tell someone to sleep. "Go to sleep" more or less :P
 
it's official then; i'm going to now only refer to myself as the Pso'Xja Boi.
 
Square Enix conference comes on G4tv.com in like 8 min, I'd watch if you want to know more about FFXIII, Versus, and hopefully XIV.
 
So glad this is coming out for Windows. I'll have a much easier time convincing the wifey to let me get a new computer than a PS3 (even though it'd almost certainly be more expensive... go figure).

Anyone else interested in those individual flying machines characters were flying with in the trailer? How cool would it be to get your own flying machine in game? People have been clamoring for personal airships forever.

A: While you may have noticed that some of the same type of races appeared in the trailer, the world of FFXIV is different from FFXI. The reason that we made the races similar to the FFXI races is so FFXI players could choose a similar type of race in the new game. For example, in movies, you might have an actor that plays many different roles. Please, think of it that way. XIV does not take place in Vana'deil.
