But the SMG's range and accuracy sucks.
 
Nothing beats the battle rifle and shotgun. You got short range and long range covered with them.

If it was halo 2 you shouldn't feel very proud because theres no way you got there w/out modding, bridging, boosting, or a mix of the previous.

But i could consistantly win team training games with my group of friends on there with only stickie granades. Or beat downs w/out the sword.

Yes, walk TOWARDS the guy with the shotgun. I'll gladly teach you who's who then ;)

Its only advantage is if they dont see you coming. But then, if they dont see you coming, a Plasma grenade has the same effect, without taking a slot that could be a Shotgun or Sniper Rifle.
 
I noticed that if you melee someone who's sword-lunging at you, it cancels the instant kill lunge.

You for real??? the battle rifle is the shit, and the shotgun is the one hiter Quiter but when it comes to halo2 and you in small maps i roll with the SMG and Plasma pistol one hit with rifle then fire SMG there dead plus if you have the over sheild no one is stoping you unless the got a rocket launcher.

Mara stfu you suck at halo, if i remember right you had to join my team for me to lose( >.< i play solo, it's your fault i kept killing you and reducing my score)


So far only 2 people have beaten me here

Yeah, lots of people with the sword died to a shotgun wielder. Sword sucks. The only time I used it was when I grabbed the Ghost on that one level with the metal carcass (forgot the name), zipped over to kill the enemy sniper when he picks it up, take it, go grab sword, head back to base. It was nice to fool people who try to jack the ghost while I have sword equipped, let them take it, then swipe them right in the back.

Oh, and I still used Battle Rifle even without a Plasma Pistol. It just meant no insta-kill. Though I did like the alien's version of the BR to get fast headshot kills.
 
FUCK THIS WHOLE TURN OF EVENTS. Halo owns Halo 2. If microsoft was smart they should redo Halo for the 360 and make it live enabled, that would be sweet.

Disclaimer. They never should of never taken the scope off of the pistol. I've hosted many a Halo parties with 20-24+ people and atleast 3-4 teams of 7-8 people per, and Halo 2 has never provided the enjoyment of the game that those LAN parties did.

OMG! as the gaming public you should understand why halo was better then halo2, and you should know why halo2 sucks so bad,

Halo was not even close to being done Microsoft pushed Bungie into leting it go for the opening day Xbox came out, Halo was 1/2 way done when they relested it for Xbox.

Then people want to know why halo2 was so short handed on the story mode, Well for 1.The gaming Public wanted halo to be online but ever happen but you could play online runing a program Via computer and play with some shity lag. 2. once again Microsoft had to put there 2 cents in because of the gaming public wanted halo2 before bungie was ever done with it,

Halo 2 was for the online only because thats what the gaming pubic wanted out of halo2 not for the story line, So now Halo3 is in the making and bungie will not let this one go until there done with is story line and online play.

Halo3 will will be alot better and longer and online will be greater then halo2
why? Because Microsoft is going to let them take there time and not rush this one out like they did the last 2 copys of halo.

So i'm going to wait for halo3 and hope it gets done to where Bungie is happy with it........and hopful the pubic will me happy as well

To top it off even more, off of what BBT was saying, it wasn't even bungie people who tested the game pre-release. It was just a bunch of microsoft people that tested it that know pretty much nothing about what a FPS should be about.
