First Person Shooting Multiplayer Game

PC gaming doesn't seem to have much variety in terms of many good games across the vast number of game genres as opposed to console gaming.

FPS. RTS. MMO.

What else do you PC gamers play very often?

Let's see..
FPS: Counter-Strike, F.E.A.R., Half-Life series, Doom series, Quake series, etc.
RTS: Warcraft series, Starcraft, Command & Conquer, Red somethin, etc.
MMO: WoW, FFXI, EQ, etc.


What few things am I missing here?

One of my most favorite multiplayer games happens to be a PC game, but it's meant to play like a console game.
 
I forgot to add in the Unreal Tournament series in there for FPS.
 
Oh yeah, Diablo series.
 
RPG - Oblivion, Morrowind, Sims (kinda i guess lol) all i can think of off the top of my head.

You also forgot to add the thousands of adventure titles like Myst, Riven, Dark Fall etc., thousands of ports like Silent Hill series, Condemned, Resident Evil series, Mortal Kombat series, etc. shall I go on? It's not hard to find good games on the PC hell, as of now many companies are releasing a PC version to their games on release and those who have had hit games in the past are beginning to realize the money in porting.

And as I mentioned before, I waited for someone to hijack the Ghost just to swipe them in the back with the sword. Sword sucks otherwise.

I stopped playing Halo 2 online 4 months after release. Fun while it lasted.

yeah i know all about the plasma followed by a beatdown. I use it all the time if that happens to be what im wielding. I actually know pretty much every trick and tactic in the game....I get a big ego when i hear it, but people find me insanley hard to kill.
not because im extremly good, But im very sneaky and evasive, i come from places people dont expect, and just when they think they got me i always hear "what the hell, where did he go!?"

and on the vehicles thing, i just cant stand them. Theres always some vehicle whore who couldnt shoot a battle rifle to save their life. when i see a vehicle, I care about nothing else around me but taking that wuss out.
When i see a super bouncer...which i might add is as extremly unskillful as the BxR, i get this rage where. They must die. and they do. i make them die. one of my newer videos is titled "Vehicles are for pussys" and its a lovely compilation of me taking out tons of them!

me and a friend used to play socom all the time, we got wings in like 2 days working together, Used to own at that game....its been so long now tho...

You're right and wrong. It isn't fair to comapare FPS's to other FPS's because... they are all the same in the end. However, if we were talking action, adventure, RPG, etc. you could differintiate games in the same genre all day long.

Well, if you really wanted to, you could add in all the ROMs out there saying the PC has basically every game. lol

Doubtless of whether a game was ported, there often is a console it was designed exclusively first for.

Like, someone's skill is really good and also get more kills and then death, and some noobs whining about this person is hacking, and aimbotting, etc, and when you go in a room, you got like people tell you "Don't Camp there" and can't camp this and that, whining about the weapon you used, like auto shotgun, someone use it, and people on the other side of the team said "Stop using that auto shotty you noob" or "You F8cking Noob using that auto shotgun!", and about smoke and flash nade, when someone is blind by a flash, they always have something to complain about, and when an area is heavily smoked by smoke nade, and they complaing about they can see this and that.

I just don't get people playing FPS game >.>

Are you talking about SoF2? The USAS, sniper, and rocket launcher were so very cheap in that game. I only played if those were turned off.
