Cherron told me to respond to this with my morning coffee, so I am.
Dani,
I still hold no ill will against you. I still think this flame was taken out of proportion, but if it's an apology that will put this to bed, then I apologize. However, the back-story and the mention of former Absolute members related to me, was an unnecessary disclosure as it had nothing to do with our run bleeding into yours. Mentioning the other individuals, who have nothing to do with the incident, is almost like flaming them because "of the company they keep".
I still believe there's much animosity directed by your leadership to ours. All in all, you are correct that we left because of those issues, but more specifically it was as follows:
1. Absolute leadership did not keep an accurate account of records supporting total points by member and assumed no one would check. I did the calculation myself and found out that one leader overstuffed his points while the rest of the LS's points were significantly understated.
2. One leader continued to attain points even though he knew that he was unable to make runs going forward because of a work schedule change, but because the rules said that signing up on the forum constitutes 1 point, it was justification for him signing up on the forum and continually gaining points, even on an extended leave of absence.
3. When questioned about these irregularities, two of the leaders became defensive and decided that my questions were more of an attack of leadership and that "Fleist & Co." should be removed from the LS, merely because they were associated with me but not because they questioned things publicly or did anything wrong. There were a number campaigns asking members to vote to remove me/us from the shell for questioning the issues above, however sheep will be sheep and the people that remain in that LS probably still don't understand it.
We did not leave Absolute, we were removed. Many were either confused by what happened, but most of others aside from the "Fleist & Co.", held my questions in high regard and left the shell as well. Many of your former members added me to their friend list, and some of them ended up being Dreams/LoC members.
All in all, I'm not bitter over the whole Absolute back-story incident. I'm actually pretty happy that it happened because it drove us to do Dynamis as our own shell, it's being managed in a very similar way to most other shells and the structure is public and transparent, and any questions and suggestions by members are always welcome and considered and answered in a not-so-condescending manner.
So if you're going to judge me as a leader, then judge me based on my actions and not an assumption of basis on intention. I'll also gladly accept that you judge me on the company I keep, my pride in the LS i lead, the relationships I've had with other endgame leaders, the members of my various linkshells, and my drive to constitute fairness in all things I take responsibility for.
