Free porn bad?

So, apparently Denmark has decided to not provide their abroad soldiers with porn anymore.

What do you think? good/bad? Personally I don't see anything wrong with providing soldiers with porn, but apparently some people don't agree.

Why would they provide it? Allow it, sure, but provide it? That's ridiculous.

Dunno the reasons they provide it. Probably to allow their soldiers to relieve some sexual tension while abroad and to prevent them from having sex with each other?

It raised some discussion on the radio earlier today. The females were for the proposal, while the males thought it was a bad thing. Something about females being sex objects, and men going crazy if they can't ejaculate for a month.

IDK, I wouldn't like my tax dollars going to porn. I'm not anti-porn or anything, but if the soldiers want it, let them spend their own money on it.

I like porn as much as the next guy (as long as the next guy isn't James Dobson), but c'mon... you don't need porn for that. It helps, but I hope it's not vital to the process.

I wouldn't provide porn to soldiers, either. Some porn is okay, but most of it is misogynist as all hell and I don't blame women for complaining about tax money supporting it. Soldiers can get it on their own.

When my roommate came back from Iraq, the first thing he did when he came back was go out and get rip-roaring drunk, the second thing he did (at about 2am) was try and find some porn. Apparently his computer wasn't working right, so he decided he couldn't wait, and came storming into my room looking to steal my laptop. He woke up my girlfriend who was screaming at him to get the hell out, and my other roommate woke up and was laughing at the whole thing.

But as for the OP, I'm kind of surprised that the Swedish military even allowed soldiers to surf for porn much less supply it for them. Oh well.

Agreed completely. If a soldier wants to rub one out, more power to him, but there are much better things my tax dollars could be going towards.
