/blockaid's a really good idea. I mean, if you're almost dead, and a WHM happens to pass by you at that exact moment, only able to watch you die, that's a great idea! Then when you ask for a raise, he can't give you that either. So smart, After! lol. And it doesn't matter how well you know your job, you're still gonna have downtime without a power leveler, especially before Refresh spells. Plus, you can take on higher level mobs without worry that the WHM is going to get hate or lose MP.
 
Shows how much you know about blockaid. Blockaid switches off when you zone or die.

Knowing how to minimize downtime is part of the job. If you are even a half-decent mage, you know how to conserve your MP so you don't have to recover as much MP. Powerleveling so that you have no downtime does nothing but prevent you from learning to manage your MP.

You also can't take on mobs that much higher than your current level, since you won't be able to hit them, regardless of you having a PL or not.
 
Well, I've never used /blockaid before, or heard of anyone using it. Either way, just because you zone or die and can still get a raise, doesn't help you when you're about to die.
I don't think Bajaratt's ever power leveled before. (S)he'd know that no matter how good at conserving MP you are, you'd still be a lot better off with someone curing the tank non-stop. You might not learn everything about conserving MP, but that comes with time. Also, how many times am I gonna have to end up saying that I don't power level newcomers? Whatever. :roll:
 
I have both powerleveled friends and been powerleveled, so yes, I know all about them. When I powerleveled a freind's party, the whm started meleeing, because I was curing better than he was. The black mages went all out for damage, as did the rangers, because I take the hits for minimum damage and kept hate. That's what I have personally seen from my experience with powerlevels.

lol. I'm saying MND is useful, but compared to anything else you could boost, I'm saying it is the most useless. It really doesn't do much to a cure, especially later on. But man, some of you guys are taking this way too seriously. Man! I even said that this wouldn't be a rant if you all agreed on everything I said. Don't spaz out on me, kid.

Actually, Cubswoo. This is my first time ever visiting or hearing off the Flames board, so yeah. I knew Delite was gonna put something on here, and I thought I'd try it out. I'm starting to find this whole Delite business comical because he's obviously scared that he's wrong. I know he wouldn't say it if he didn't think it were true, because people like him are like that. And he's really pissed off. I appologise for misunderstanding, but really, you have to realize I wasn't trying to MPK you or your party.

I guess you guys didn't see the title "Friendly Rant", either. I put that up there so you guys wouldn't spaz out or anything, but I guess few people pay attention to the small things anymore. I could have posted Flames about you, Delite. But I knew that would just make me look like a loser. Thanks for flaming me, and proving me right. :P

Okay, so that's that? There's nothing for me to own up to. Any reader and friends of Delite can believe what they want, but I'm not going to lie, saying I did something someone says I did. I'm not going to manipulate anyone, but really it was Delite that "MPK'd his party" not me. He made sure he had an Acrophies' hate and it's name purple to me so I couldn't attack it. I have a good idea, how about you (if you read this) ask people in the party what they think. They were all pretty pissed when I left, so they obviously didn't see anything wrong with what I was doing. Augh, I'm rambling again.
Listen, any of you who have been paying attention, you have your own opinions. If you wanna ask me questions, give me a /tell or post a short reply. Sorry, everyone for the inconvenience.
