I have never understood why people do this or feel hurt when no one says hello back. Ok, your online...so are lots of people. There's a constant flux of people coming and going from large shells. Not only is it annoying to say hello/goodbye to everyone, but its pointless. It doesn't actually mean anything. In real life, hello is the start of a conversation. 99% of the time I see people log in and say /ls (|Hello!|) it gets followed by a couple responses and that's it. The person didn't have anything to say of value, they just wanted attention to soothe their insecure egos.

If you have something to say to the shell, say it. Otherwise, saying simply hello and expecting responses just comes off as if you assume the world revolves around you and we should all feel honored you are gracing us with your presence by logging. If nothing else, say hello to make ls members aware you are online, but don't get sad just because no one responds.

I've seen people quit over not getting hellos back. I have no idea how people get so insecure and lack self-confidence so badly, but that is just awful. If people ignore your content filled statements, then maybe you should start to worry, but getting your autogenereated (|Hello!|) ignored is no reason for concern. Chances are, people are busy playing the game...because their game doesn't revolve around being a Wal-Mart greeter.

I think it's rude to not respond to a simple "hello". To you it may be trivial, but to others its an important part of communication. Not just that, a hello was never ever given and a lot of the time when I asked things I was ignored. Not because they were busy, not because they weren't there, but because they didn't want to respond. Why may you ask is that important? Well if they did respond, they will then have to answer questions, questions like "What are you doing?" and "Can I come camp that NM with you?" and if you've ever been in Affinity, you know they don't want to share NM drops with you if they can have a bigger share.

Since no one seems to be willing to respond and I feel totally unsatisfied, I present to everyone these gifts for your viewing pleasure! Tomorrow, I will explain anything that needs to be elaborated on, but for now it's late and posting the links is more than enough for me.

You have a lot of patience... I woulda kicked the loudmouth bitch even quicker.. Respect is a huge thing in NORMAL life let alone endgame... I think some of these people need a good slap to realize reality..

Sorry for posting an "out-sider perspective" but it's a fact. No one wants drama shit in ANY ls.. Simplest way to have a pretty garden is to remove the weeds.

there's actually a lot of back story behind why sumer did what she did. It would take hours for me to explain everything that happened within our linkshell.

You're right, nobody wants drama in their linkshell. But I think the screenshots biased showing one side as hostile and another side not as much. I do not want to get into an arguement with people I consider as friends still in affinity so I will not say more then this.
 
Wow Lavi.. so we're all supposed to be enemies now because we don't wear the same linkpearl? That makes no sense to me at all.

So, our shell had a few members that clashed with each other, and some people left. Is that such an uncommon thing? Does our LS really deserve to dragged through the mud on qcdn for that?


I can tell you're upset but really.... Was this necessary?

Also, you should understand your thread being removed from our LS website. You quit.. it should be self explanitory... We need to move on, and obviously so do you.

late game different ball game, hun. If someone is being a total bitch in dealing with say millions of gil worth and drops the LS has earned and is what seems like for arguement over screwing over people who have worked hard and been with the LS for awhile, then yes, they have every right to voice their opinion :\

Most people in this game are quite sad. I've known a lot of individuals and befriended a lot as well. However, if it wasn't a favor I'd need to repay back, like static WS fights, etc. I only have a few people I know who would just go to hang out or help... sadly, as well, I can count them all on a single hand.
