Fuck you SE for nerfing THF further!!!!

P.s. for those who says THF is there only for hate control, that's very very old. Who'd invite thf for hate control at 75? For gods?? y use a thf for 600 sata shark bite when you can have a war/thf or drk/thf does 1.2k +??

thats just it. i wouldnt invite a thf to a 75 merit party unless it was a LS member (which is very different because of gear+skill typically)

however im still waiting to hear your reply about triple attack. :) TP gain alone with triple attack trait is enough of a bonus as thief as it is. you were just spoiled.

Man every single job can pull in lufaise meadows and get back to camp without dying, but how much dmg did you take? how much MP has to spend on you to get ur 2k hp back? THF has the same paper thin gear as monk but guess what? you are sitting at 1600 and i am sitting at 1100hp. I don't think me and brianfist are any noob thfs and we don't think /war will work in lufaise meadows, neither does sky weapons camp. Or are you the MP sponge that insist to go to sky weapons as mnk/war?
...

So a difference of 500 HP is the difference between a dead THF (who takes less hits due to OBSCENE evasion) and a living MNK (B in evasion, no evasion bonus)? I somehow doubt it.

And yes, I invite THFs for hate control. What else do you offer that a WAR doesn't, seriously? WAR has damage. THF has damage and hate control. What are you trying to say, that your job gets invited for its below-average damage?

Now I'm interested.

Walk up to a mob with 300% TP and use (example since I am RdM) Fast Blade with /nin, 2 swords.

Walk up to same mob and 300% TP Fast Blade it without 2 swords.

This is not rocket science... The damage with 2 weapons is VASTLY higher than 1.

Im sorry...you must not understand what people give up to use /nin. You seem to forget I am a career DRK. Its my business to know these types ot things.

/nin you gain DW2

/war you gain Berserk Warcry and added STR mods

I can do rampage dual wielding axes OR I can Berserk with 1 axe and gain an extra 100ish attk. (not to mention the extra 6 STR(i think) from subbing WAR)

Your right its not rocket science. I will 100% guanantee you on avg /war will beat /NIN on WS.
Why DD sub /nin is for the DW2, being able to off hand a stat modifying weapon, and not take DMG.

They and I repeat DO NOT sub NIN for increased WS DMG.

anyone else like my new sig?>.>

The only reason I'd be considered an MP spong in a weapons PT, is because motherfucking mages wouldn't let me use Chakra.

Hell and I even forgot the chance of Double Attack proc'ing!

haha

If you were expecting the 99% to be the access-to-herald's group, tell Nasya I'll be expecting my pair iin my delivery box.

nah, im just playing. but nas is supah nice '-'

It's not that big a deal...the people who invite thieves will invite thieves, and the people who don't never will. I have 9 tp to burn in endgame xp parties. I have room to speed up.

C in marksmanship=you'd better be filling out a multimillion gil pullset and eat sushi if you don't want to be triple attack pecked to death on the way back to camp. And even then, what does it matter if you're back at camp and the mob is still asleep halfway across the zone? You're gimping kill rate by sleeping on a pull.

If only thfs had some kind of way to pull where they could prevent the mob from catching up to them and hitting them. Maybe like.... an arrow that could put the mob to sleep or something. Oh well, too bad they don't. :(

Sleep bolts don't proc all the time, are inaccurate thanks to the rng nerf and can easily cause multiple links. They wouldnt be very useful unless most of the monsters didnt link and a large portion of the monsters people exp on link. (gobs anyone?)

For the record. I've never died on a pull in Lufaise or any pull that i can remember for that matter. Maybe i'm just a fan of getting back to the party without getting hit. Meh, w/e

Lol finally me and my Samurai friends now have a chance to keep up to par with DD against you super power war/nin's.
War/nin was barely touched by the TP changes, and almost every setup for war/nin gets MORE TP now.
Skaw said:
Could've done without it affecting Hand to Hand though, since Monks are literally forced to use it, being as we have no other option. But meh, I don't care.
Lol, with your final Martial Arts trait, and Destroyers, you now get 4.9 TP per hit instead of 5.0. Damn it's the monks that took the hard hit here obviously.
Shaidalyn said:
Dual Weild WS > Single weapon WS by a LOT....
It varies by ws. With dual wield, you get one extra hit on multi-hit ws's with dual wield.
Skaw said:
I've pulled in Lufaise. I take the same damage a thief does. You also get ranged attacks for pulling, when Provoke and Chi Blast are down, I had to run up to shit and hit it.

Why are all monks oblivious to these?
Rappa said:
I've pulled in Lufaise as a drk/thf. You don't need shadows if you don't suck at pulling. kthx.
Pulling is a lot easier with a 5 second head start from stun. It's also easy there if your party sucks and you don't have to run more than 30 seconds out to pull due to them repopping right by you faster than you can pull.

Lol at thf getting a sleep bolt/arrow to hit a VT-IT mob, let alone proc.

You forgot double attack on /war. What thf used to gain from /nin was faster TP build due to the TP floor. You don't get that as drk/nin.

But in all honestly, I've pulled lufaise as a taru brd/whm, and I didn't die. I did come back with less than half hp a few times.

Why are all monks oblivious to these?

The page should explain it...

Sold from: (Price: 294 - 332 gil)

Stack to 99.

So that's about 30k per party on pulling?

And let's not forget if you want them crafted, it takes a steel ingot, and the NQ is 8. Not 33, 8.

Drk/thf in lufaise?
lol what the hell for, Slow skillchains and inferior DoT?

It's closer like 4.6ish%TP I do get 10% every 3rd/4th round. But like I said, I didn't care. It's not affecting the way I play in the slightest. As well, Tathlum. Haha.. You only get 8 per NQ synth, requires a steal ingot. Bastok must be in 1st place for them to be purchasable.

drk/thf works fine there with the right pt setup. I don't really like doing /thf there, but with the pt I went there (I think we were 71-72) we got constant chain 5s with little to no downtime. You just have to know how to make things happen instead of using cookie cutter pt setups.
