360 hands down.
360 is great right now, PS3 might be great in a few years.
360 has the biggest and best library of titles out right now. PS3 has some good games, but very few actually worth buying and a lot of those few are multi-platform. In the next year or two, the PS3's exclusive library might expanda bit, but given how many exclusives announced they were going multi-platform this year, that's not guaranteed.
True, but not many of them are going to involve such huge delay times; especially since the 360 is insanely easier to develop for. The GTA series were really just ports well after the initial release, but most of the multi-platformers are building both releases simultaneously.Of course, even if they do go multi platform, you may have to wait a year or more to play it on something different. Look how long it took x-box to release GTA 3/VC/SA.
I'd be willing to bet it's more for the exclusive game selection than the over all game selection as ps3 has more exclusive titles anounced than they have current titles available.

Edit: Also incase you didn't know UT3 is coming to xbox next year too
Raider, how is it most multiplatform games run better on 360 than PS3?I've not seen a difference in gameplay and graphics I've not seen much of a difference either (one usually brighter than the other). Not everyone wants to play on Live either
personally I get annoyed of the hooting retards (not that PS3 doesn't have them either -_- just 360 has more.. granted due to more players
) but ya.. I've always been more single player than multi-player.
then again if something is good and people like it you don't so no point in arguing this.
I put PS3 as I already own a 360. In terms of power, PS3 would get it hands down now that the good games are coming out.
However 360 still has its charms... btw, you forgot the Wii !!! =(
What if I dont want/already have, the Wii?
I dont want one because I've played it way too much at a friends house and I'm all Mario-ed out.
