Just a couple truths i want to lay down for people at random here:
Jesus was black and never had a donation plate. Had this truth been known organized religion in the christian form would be null and void in this country save the northernmost and westernmost areas (and even that's being liberal.) That's right, kids, if your ancestors had known he was black he wouldn't have made it past the industrial revolution. But please do continue being pious on a religion bolstered and propigated by racism in this country and feeding on the masses who would look to an imaginary friend to run their lives for them. Your relationship with god is your own, i'm loathe to pass judgement, however the only things that seperate convictions from ideology are facts. Personally i enjoy the freedom of being a faithist, i have faith in the fact that faith is a powerful thing.
God? never met the guy, neither have you wether you want to admit it or not.
Pro-Life v Pro-Choice was an invention of the media. The truth is that these two schools of thought would be more appropriately called pro and anti abortion choice. Oddly enough both sides of the argument view "abortion" as a dirty word wether for or against it.
For human beings as well as many other organisms life starts as soon as life can end. Argue it all you like, if you can be killed you're alive. Personally i'm pro-choice as even i can't put blinders on the fact that there are degenerates out there who do horrible things to women resulting in pregnancy, can't deny a woman the right to self-preservation any more than i would deny myself that right, and understand completely the idea that having a child is going to bring your world crashing down around you and would be a diservice to the child now or at any point in the history of mankind.
The two party system does not work. This is not due to the current administration, they simply make it glaringly obvious.
And last but certainly not least:
The entire government both left and right have been failing the country on national security (among other things) for quite some time. Currently there are 2000 miles of unprotected southern borders, illegal immigrants have a right to privacy on a level that US citizens don't even come close to being able to excercise, and if your lucky enough to make it over the border with child that child has all the rights of a citizen and is given easier access into the welfare system YOU and I pay for.

Here's the deal; No one is protecting us from another HUGE terror attack. Bold statement, no? Still doesn't change the fact any idiot can build a pipe bomb and hit a crowded event. Call me a bit of a sadist but when i see large gatherings or protests or riots or whatever i think "man, if they wanted to........ boom, that'd suck." Hospitols, schools, airports, train stations, etc.. you may think they're safe and that everything is fine and your government is doing something to protect you but the truth is we're no safer now than before 9/11 even thought we've shelled out god knows how much money to basicly start the George W. fraternity in our capitol.

The president says alot of crap, most of which is scripted memorized and poorly understood. Yea yea .. we're gonna go ape on governments who harbor terrorists ........ like ....... we do, fucking brilliant. Did you know we've got more terrorists in this country than there are insurgents/terrorists in iraq? Did you know some of them make political contributions? Were you aware that one of the oldest terrorist groups in existence is the KKK? Do you stop to think about these things before making an arguement for our safety?
Anyway, we should all thank our lucky fucking stars nothing else has happened cos we're wide open and waiting thanks to EVERYONE in power's lack of ability to uphold the offices they were elected to.
This last statement applies to more than terrorism but i was off on a tirade since it's been annoying me lately. I've said it before and i'll say it again; the two party system doesn't work. All that comes of it are high blood-pressures and people so vehement in their convictions (personal or otherwise) that they would give up everything to protect the status quo never wanting to even entertain the idea that the entire nation needs to be told to sit the fuck down and shut the fuck up while we figure out what the rules are and lay them back down again. Anyone who thinks that you can run ANYTHING today based on 200yr old ideals is a complete moron and really just hasen't thought it though.
This isn't a leftist or liberal opinion it's a patriotic one. I'm tired of seeing people holler about generalizations or specifics. The truth of the matter is that both generalizations or specifics in conversations only go to support opinions, and get this ... just because you can support the opinion with a fact does not make the argument a fact. I can say the grass is blue cos i'm colorblind, that makes it a personal fact (skewed, if you will) but no less a fact to me, conversly someone would call me a moron because everyone knows the grass is green, so then i would hit him in the face with a tire iron or tell all my friends he's an asswipe simply because he A.) Didn't agree or B.) Didn't think to get informed as to why i came to this conclusion..... you know at base this is why the crusades were fought.
I suppose the catharsis i'm attempting to have at your expense here is that intolerance is our greatest weakness as well it could be tha salvation of this country. Because we are intolerant we are mostly ignorant zealots willing to do or say anything to get our point across. Because we're not intollerant enough the situations we disagree with stagnate or get worse.
Bottom line: Shit or get off the pot. You can't sit on your ass eating cheetos playing video games and pretend you ACTUALLY give a flying fuck about what is going on in the world all the while disassociating from it as often as possible.
How is it both sides bitch and moan about how much help we need or all the things we're going to do for everyone else all the while not giving a damn that .. as the good book puts it "God helps those who help themselves."
Build a fucking wall, start shooting trespassers, tell stupid people they're stupid and don't tolerate the "ignorance is bliss" defense.
Ignorance isn't bliss, it's work .. it's hard to stay uninformed these days it's even harder to get people to appreciate the freedoms they neglect on a daily basis. But take away the right to stand on your head whilst pising in a fishbowl and there'll be a fucking riot in the capitol tomorrow.
I'm sure i could muddle on and on and on but i think i'm done for now but meh .. baby's up from his nap.
