Seriously after a while all I can read out of Peregrine's posts is "blah blah blah blah blah." I think it's pretty clear that you're an asshole, even if you think that you're only pretending to be one. You're a dumbass who has become so sensitized to discrimination because you were brainwashed about racism and sexism that you treat final fantasy 11 job discrimination as if it's the same thing.

Since you've never been sought after once and instead taken cause of pity, I'll tell you why some high demand jobs get offered gil to help when low demand jobs rarely do. Well, because of people like me. Because someone like me who has the high demand jobs and hasn't whored it out for gil.. after helping, and helping, and helping I eventually get tired of it. Because for every 1 time you get asked to help, I get asked 10 times. So I end up turning down a hell of a lot more people than you. So I would have a hell of a lot less free time if I helped everyone who asked.... to do things like make gil so I don't wind up leveling THF to 75 in AF.

You don't wanna pay high demand jobs for help, fine with me. Just means as long as those high demand jobs aren't dedicating their life to helping random people they never met... a lot less things will end up getting done.

And I'm fine with that either way. Of course when I need to get something done, I might actually help the people I need help from... til they, yanno, wanna help me. If some people would rather just pay gil, I'm not going to cry like a pussy over it. Wah wah wah. Grow some balls.

Seriously Firestreak, thank you for saying that. ^^ ; ; i mean i dont come here and flame about WHM expecing gil when they teleport people.... Shit if i counted the amount of times i have paid for a tele.... Ive gone out of my way to help countless people...

this DM is another way to help some MELEE/mages out. I dont think Pere is realizing this is a losing post for him. Because honestly he doesnt realize that AGAIN ILL REPEAT AGAIN... I AM NOT MAKING A DIME OUT OF THIS RUN! this gil is solely used to give to people that wanna come out to help people out. Im sick of this post and ive said my piece. Bash all you want pere all i was trying to do was help.

When Treasure Hunter is magically considered a grand idea for bringing many thieves along, outweighing their nigh-uslessness besides invite at the last moment - instead of being a gimmick for 99.9% of the time, I'm sure Peregrine'll change his tune. Just like his position on excellent equipment over basic equipment, and his position on TP Burn coat tail riders by leveling Warrior itself. WAR/NIN especially, thats such an obvious blanket of hypocrisy in that regards. If he were doing WAR/THF with Great Axe, I'd consider differently, but he's probably never even touched a great axe.
 
I'm not sure where Peregrine would even find the time to level, since obviously all he does when he logs in is selflessly contribute to random strangers without asking for any compensation for his time or efforts. Well, that and making ridills drop with his TH4 by never setting foot in Dragon's Aery. Still not sure how that works, maybe Chasym hooked him up with a 1337 hack to make Ridills drop from dynamis stones! Or maybe they are magically formed out of the air by all of his random acts of kindness, since compensation is for losers. I'm sure he has no plans to charge his patients, either, since obviously it's wrong to make money off of a high-demand job.
 
The traditional DM fight is one of the hardest BC's in the game, supposedly. You might pay 100k on food and supplies, only to lose, and do it again. When you think about it, 200k, and the assurance of only doing it once, doing it in 3 minutes instead of 30, and the gil you might save on repeated supply purchases seems like a bargain. 200k might seem like a lot, and the whole merc thing can come across kind of against community spirit, but in this case, it's a win win situation. How much is EXP worth? Supplies? Actually seems like a bargain. This isn't anything like the disputed KS30 organizations. 200k isn't much gil anymore, especially for a free ride past one of the game's biggest challenges.

How is an extremely efficient setup pathetic? I don't understand how they are milking others. Hell, if you didn't like it, why not contact the organizer and ask him for a different setup (and maybe jump in and help out) instead of starting this thread. Weak minds bitch about problems, strong minds find solutions.

Nah he was excluded for being a thf, at which point he brought up the idea to try and come up with some usefulness for himself (in a run with 2 thieves already)
