Give it up, manaburners.

What have I learned from this topic? I've learned that Peregrine is an egotistical, offensive, and petty little man who lashes out at anyone who voices an opinion that differs from his own with crude and tasteless remarks. His behavior reminds me of that which you might find on an elementary school playground. I truly feel sorry for him because someone with such glaring character flaws probably won't ever truly find happiness in life.

Pointless posting this revelation. It's far too-late observed, and only fuels his fire even more. Do expect a post by him saying something along the lines of:
"Oh look, I got another fanboy. Even more posts about me. I am god."

I don't teh understand! Why for gil pay and milk! I like milk! How I milk gil?

Ok, there was more then one sentence in my last reply, if you consider yourself even moderately smart, reply to the rest. Btw, when I said "I don't understand why you think they are milking others", I'm basically stating they aren't. They do not corner the market on DM runs, hell I don't even think this particular organizer runs this event often enough to consider it any kind of in-game living. Funny how you claim others to be 16 year old kids. Posts like the one you made just shows your immaturity. Thats ok, I like to argue, and I can lower myself to your lvl for some fun. Do yourself a favor, turn off the computer, leave your mother's basement, go get some sun, maybe even get yourself a girlfriend. Maybe in a couple months you can come close to resembling an adult.

If there was a "Blm Nerf" it was what the advent of TP Burning did to the collective Blm ego in the EXP party situation. SE either can't or won't touch us like they did to Rangers. Still, a boost to melee autonomy via infinitely chainable TPburn mobs accomplished the same thing in the end, albeit with Pld invites as collateral damage, arguably worse off since they can't manaburn. If there's irony in this topic, it's that Peregrine asks for balanced party formations. I doubt such a thing will ever exist again. The job pool is more divided than ever. Jobs that can sub ninja don't want to work with jobs that can't. Blms don't want to work with melees, and vice versa. Plds just want some love. The only real winners in the whole deal are the refresher jobs. They've been on a pedastal since day one, and people are seemingly fine with that. I'm happy people don't put blm on a pedastal anymore, because I don't want people to think that's why I levelled it.
not they wont touch you, it that they cant, they have to change every mob, every hnm in the game.

Or make BLM completely useless, thus rendering 100x harder alot of endgame activities.
And the "BLM Nerf" was real, but its almost meaningless. It really ony raises resist rates for casting multiple spells, and since everyone uses Ele-Seal in BLM DM, thats irrelevant.

My linkshell is the best Dynamis shell on the server, but I have seen pathetic wipes to DL? OMG WHO AM I?
we wiped once. We only tryed once. So there is no "wipes." Most of us rather farm for af then go for DL. Invictus can beat DL I assure you, we just choose to farm to get more people 5/5. DL will come soon enough.

why would you make a job completly useless? Heck you talking about a job when someting breaths on it wrong it dies. The problem is the mobs with there spaming aoe moves or 1 hit ko moves they change that and the problem would be fixed.

The only way to reduce the power of BLM is to render it completely innefective.

Honestly at this point you're just in denial.

note: I'm not trying to attack you Pere, so please just take this post as my opinion.

On selling services...
I have always been a fairly well-rounded and fair player. I lvl the jobs I like playing, not the jobs that are necessarily the best. I've also spend hours and hours farming and hours and hours camping. I have rarely taken any pay for my services but I have had days where I couldn't get any help or spent hours asking people. And I also know how many extra tells one gets for a higher-demand job vs. a lower demand job or average melee job. This is, of course, why a lot of high demand mages and ninjas go /anon.

Sure, it would be nice if the most sought after jobs were always willing to help. But if they did it would be a full-time job. And if they need gil (and whms don't have TH3 or the fast kills) what's wrong with selling services? I'm not remotely against the idea of mercing because we buy products from each other all the time. It's called the Auction House. The game would be a huge pain in the ass if we did not buy from each other and it sometimes isn't a fair exchange (gil for product). But people still pay because it would be harder to get that item otherwise. Maybe they don't want the risk or lose xp in deaths or don't have the time or patience to camp or willing friends to do it free, etc. ALL GOOD reasons for buying. Most people who come to camp something for you expect a cut. Time = gil. And if you don't have a lot of time to play then you have even less time to help people. If you then use your free time to make yourself gil then that's time you can't help someone. But if someone who needs help is willing to pay for your time... what's the problem? It all supports the economy.

And for a lot of jobs it actually costs gil to help; i.e. nin tools, meds, food, etc. But the biggest cost is time when you could be getting exp or gil. There's nothing wrong with charging and from what I read it sounds like the whole thing was handled fairly. I wouldn't even care if the organizer took a bigger cut than the rest because without that person, and without the alliance, no one gets the items or gil. But by paying everyone gets what they want. So what if an item is rare/ex and it can't be put on AH. That doesn't mean you can't make gil on it or pay gil to get it. The key to this game is having multiple ways of making gil and acquiring items you need. Limiting the "how" is not part of the game. If it was then /trade would not include a gil feature. And even those who charge more than others are justified by the people who pay. As long as it is not RMT getting the gil I find it to be righteous.

No offense...

Well maybe eventually they'll add enough gear and enough merits and boost all the jobs enough that Dynamis Lord will be easy, and maybe then a shell led by Peregrine can defeat it. But at this point there's been something like 30 months since that shell's been trodding along?

I find it ironic, the one time you tried was two days after my shell won. I know people in your shell, and I know how ABSOLUTELY FUCKING PATHETIC your attempt was.

Maybe once you realize Dalmatica is good you'll be able to see why your shell can't do it :)

And to stay on topic, SE won't fucking touch BLM. Stop dreaming haters, it's not going to happen ;D

Given how much endgame strategy depends upon BLM and NIN capabilities, I seriously doubt SE would mess with the jobs for fear of losing too many dedicated players. I think the AM IIs are going to be the last modification we see to BLM in a long time and, IMO, Ninja may never be touched again.

Yeah Hellstorm , every linkshell that has killed DL did so in under a year since it's inception, but his is going on a year and a half with only a single attempt. I can understand moving at your own pace, making sure your people can win the fight before you try; I wouldn't care about how slowly you're progressing if you weren't trying to brag about how great your linkshell is all the time. I know it's not you who's bragging about it usually, but it's your linkshell who keeps acting like it's the big kid on the block when it hasn't killed DL yet.

Ranger. You keep ****ing the game up you get the hammer and never recover. They felt sorry for what they did to ranger. Don't make them regret that they didn't do it to black mages, because they don't give two farts about dedicated abusers.

It's like you're trying to be Good but the Darkness grips you so. I see the glow, but it's way deep down. Embrace what's right no matter how impractical. Make no compromises. Be what you wish you were; don't settle for a comfortable alternative.

You see a dragoon sitting on the side of the road. What do you do?

I think that was diffent. There how many Jobs competing for DD spot in party? Also rng not that bad off the still really powerful. As for blm I really hope they don't touch them because it most likely effect rdm to.
