You're missing the point. Regardless of how much you can access, you're still limited by the rest of the hardware. Storage doesn't mean better graphics by itself. Yes, Blu-Ray allows for more/larger/crisper textures, but ONLY if the rest of the hardware can put it to use without choking.
I did mention the Random access memory specs, and i do get the point. PS3 is equiped to handle it without chocking, and the storage capacity of BluRay allows PS3 media to have these larger files that have finer quality. Sure the system has it's limits.
The beauty of High defination, does not ride solely on pixle ratio. It rides on less compression. BluRay's clean picture can be emulated by a video with such compression levels being played off of a HDD.
Because Blu-Ray can "store" such large files, they can go ahead and use less compression making DVD looks like shit. If you notice, compression on some commercial DVDs are too noticable. The Lord of the Rings DVD Box set is beautiful because they never compressed them so badly, the entire trilogy is on 6 DVDs, each movie being on 2 discs. that is to preserver quality. Even so the entire box set will fit on a single Blu-Ray and they can still use digital content with even less compression to make it look even better.
Less compression = higher quality picture.
Movies aside, this same wonder is in effect with Data storage on Blu-Ray, and again the PS3 is designed to process these magnitudes of information. The specs on the PS3 is no myth, i don't know what more to say about it.

I'm not talking about games using up that much, but that much of physical storage.
In no way do i imply the PS3 is handeling more than it can either.

Despite having storage that dwarfs what games take up, it doesn't aid in my system running better unless virtual memory becomes a huge necessity, over someone who doesn't have that much storage. Especially if they have a better graphical output and/or processor.
I see where you missed my point. So i'll say again, the 360 does not have media that can feed it enough data to match the PS3's way. In no way do i imply storage and accessing larger amounts makes for better system performance. In the 360's case, why have that much power when you cannot feed it enough data to utalize further potential ? the Xenos specializes in texturing, but the media is not designed to accommodate the ATI Xenos properly.
Xenos wants high def... It wants low compression textures. It will not get this because the DVD9 does not have the space for these things. Sure GOW is beautiful, It is also short. the most anticipated games cannot afford to be short so GOW2 will have complaints, only way to make the game longer is to tone it down graphically.

The largest hard drive in the world isn't going to allow someone to run Oblivion on a machine containing a Pentium III or Geforce 3-era video cards. It does allow you to play a game significantly larger than Oblivion, however.
I am aware of that. Alot of these PC games, eat up alot of DVD9 space. some of these PC games, are too large for DVD9 aswell. The point is 360's space is too limited.
Bring DooM3 to 360 and it will NEVER play in the special High rez setting.
Because of this the Xenos is deprived

Storage doesn't magically make up and surpass the restrictions placed by the rest of the hardware.
Storage places the restriction on the very development of the game. 360 game development means use lower poly counts sooner, because you're running out of space soon, it mean use lower end shaders sooner, because the limit is near.
Make smooth models and high end shaders on a 360 and the game will be short on content.
For the last time and for clearity, storage does not accelerate the hardware in any way, it contains the data the hardware needs to run at full force.
Less storage space = Less access for hardware = less texture = less shader = less poly count = hungry Xenos which is capable of handeling more of everything the 360 can provode for it.
Put a 50 gig game on the 360 HDD that's fine, but it would also suck if you had to do that.
If the 360 had HDDVD or BluRay it will be able to feed the Xenos high end shaders without sacrificing game length and other attributes that makes us giggle.
Stick with small files and more compression on a DVD9 .. That will never push the Xenos. Never never never.
Xenos needs more access, which only more storage can provide
