Guitar Hero III

Just beat it on Hard. Im gonna need quite some practice to beat it on Expert. TTFAF on Expert I cn get to 3%, its just fucking rediculous. But the bonus songs are quite nice :)

Im in love with this game.
 
Beat TTFAF today, and I only practiced the intro on Slowest-Slow for 15 minutes >_> then took a break to get some supper from McDonalds, came back, beat it my second try.

Now to dominate co-op career with my friend :D This game has made my pants very happy. If anyone ever wants to fuck around on Live just let me know

On the PS2 version it looks like they gave Beaker metal-hair and called it a day, lol.

Have yet to fire up my Wii version.
 
Slash owned me for a few tries. Finally beat him, currently on The Metal (expert). Decided to call it quits then, only to have a friend want to play co-op with me. Sure enough, I beat The Metal on Expert during co-op. Watch me not be able to beat it solo.:mad:
 
Lol im workin on beating Career on Expert, doing ok so far just have limited time. I 5 stared all of the first two tiers, and i can FC Miss Murder and When we Were Young. We should start a list of who has FCed what. I need some songs that are FCable so post yours!
 
So awesome, just finished career mode.

Tom Morello took three tries, and Slash and the Devil took one. Go figure.

That battle with the devil was so awesome though.
 
;_; No GH3 for us Brits just yet. Not for another 23 days. Kinda ironic that its on the same day I'm gonna see Dragonforce (The best band in the world in my opinion). Friday 23rd November. Awesome.

I FCed When We Were Young, My Names Is Jonas and Closer all on my sightreads. Got Bulls on Parade the second time I played it, on pro-face off.

And I'd like to take a moment to say fuck Raining Blood. Only career song I have left to 5* on Expert D: Such an intense song, I love it!

Use SP during them? Or learn to finger it faster. I don't think there are really any other suggestions I can give >.< That song is a fucking beast (and I love it!) Just wail away on the right three buttons during SP and you should be able to pass it, the new HOPO system gives you some nice leeway... But the rock meter does go down fast as hell if you're missing them D:


so I have a question for all of you: Do you think the GH3 engine (NOT the songs) is easier or harder than GH2s? There's more leeway on HOPOs, but the rock meter punishes you a lot more harshly for missing notes or over strumming. I personally want to try some of the GH2 songs on the GH3 engine and see how my scores compare once the PC version is released and people figure out customs.

And I don't think there's any way in hell I'd be able to pass Jordan on the GH3 engine >_>

I think GHIII is way easier because, and this is embarrassing to admit, I can finally do songs on hard.

Stop judging me.

Also, is there a way to play the song you play when fighting Lou any time you want? That song was so much fun to play, but I don't want to have to battle every time I play it.

Nope.

Also, It is a bit easier to fail on songs with fast riffs if you dont get the timing down, which is the only time i have ever failed a song. I like the GH3 engine, its plays basically the same to me, but i never owned GH2 just played it at the Girlfriends house every day.

I finally beat One and TTFAF. Tapping the intro sure does help, and the triplets on one I just go mad crazy with the fingers. My only problem is that doing them from left to right (index, middle, ring) instead of the opposite way isnt as fluid so i end up mashing middle and ring at the same time jsut because they dont roll off as easy.
 
There's no way to play the boss battles outside of career -YET-, but some of the future DLC has already leaked onto scorehero. There's a Velvet Revolver pack, a Foo Fighters pack, and a pack with the three boss songs (I would HOPE it's free...).

lol, 95% is a not very close to an FC on a song like this >.> It's impressive as hell, yes, but in a song this massive it's a long way to go.

Also, HellAshes and iamchris4life both have runs over 750k. While here I am with my sad little 330k, 84?ish%.

Any music/rhythm video game this kid does, he is a monster at. I wasn't suprised at all when one of my friends told me he was a monster at GH.
