Happy Holidays!

Thnikkaman, tell me that you DID NOT give me an answer that included:
a) the person who answered the officer
b) the color of his hat
c) why
Yes, I did answer "all three". But that (b) is more of a bonus question since the question doesn't really answer that. If a teacher asked that question on a test and I answered the colour of his hat incorrectly, I wouldn't lose marks, because the teacher didn't ask for it. If I got it right, I probably wouldn't get anything either.

no because you needed b to answer the "why" part correctly.

if you didn't give the color of #2's hat, then you couldn't have explained why it was #2. you see it now?

Number three (left to right) didn't answer, so number three knew that him and the guy in front of him had different colour hats. Therefore, number three knew that his hat was different than number two's hat. In turn, it was him who answered, and he answered correctly.

I didn't even MENTION white or black in that thing and I still got the right answer.

Now, my question is, which suspect was able to tell the officer the color of the hat on his head and why?

And since the afforementioned question doesn't ask which colour his hat is, that means I'm right. And since that's just basically what I answered originally, that means I was right then, too.

Suspect number three (left to right). Why? Because number four didn't answer, so number three knew that him and the guy in front of him had different colour hats. Therefore, number three knew that his hat was different than number two's hat. In turn, it was him who answered, and he answered correctly.

If you gave me that answer, honestly, i would have straight up and unbiasedly said incorrect, and have asked you what color hat is #2 because your answer was incomplete.

It's the second guy. Why? After a short time, Number 1 has not shouted out what colour hat he is wearing.
Because of this number 2 knows that he cannot be wearing the same colour hat as the person in front of him.
If he was then number 1 would see two black hats and would therefore know that his hat must be white.
He isn't wearing the same colour hat as the man in front.
The man in front is wearing a black hat.
number two can confidently shout out that the hat he is wearing is white.

That was easy, buddy.

How is it incomplete? You asked me who said his hat colour and how he knew his hat colour was black, or white, or whatever the picture showed.

Now, my question is, which suspect was able to tell the officer the color of the hat on his head and why?

I still want to know where you get the question "what colour was his hat" from.

See? Just got it mixed up. If the guy in the front was wearing a black hat, I would have gotten the thing you didn't even ask right. So I added something useless to my answer. Sorry.

ask everyone else.

anyways. Nice arguing with you thnikkaman, it was fun. You backed up your arguments well. However, I already gave the gil away, and if you think you are really really entitled to part of it, you will have to convince Sabia.

This WILL be my last post lmao.. because i'm going out for the night hahaha... Once again to live up to the title of this thread, HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!! AND BE SAFE!

G'night, kid. I'll keep this post alive, and hopefully Sabia will answer to it again.
I put up a good argument because I was right the whole time. Sculli, since you're sticking up for scrub, here, why don't you start talking in his defence? Hmm?

btw: scrub = taboo term for someone stupid and insignificant

lmao, I had to take a chemical shower just now because just so much as talking to people like you makes me spiritually unclean.

Okay, back to a serious matter... Just look at the question... "Which suspect was able to tell the officer the color of the hat on his head and why?"... Can't you see that he's not asking me what colour his hat is? Therefore meaning I won the riddle? I'd put my 1mil to work, not spend it all at once. When I got back like 50mil from the multiplier effect, I'd give atleast a mil to Sabia, then maybe pay back Moch because he'd made my day so happy.
Instead, he gave it to some person who hadn't even seen the thread. You guys are actually a bunch of morons lol. Like wow. JUST READ THE QUESTION:
Which suspect was able to tell the officer the color of the hat on his head and why? No where in there does it ask what colour his hat is. NO WHERE.

Okay, this is just a little bit of an EME question for you:
"if any of you can guess what color hat is on top of your head, I will let all 4 of you free. If any of you guess the wrong, you will all be shot on the spot."
PLUS
"Which suspect was able to tell the officer the color of the hat on his head and why?"
EQUALS
"Which suspect saved them all and why?"
Just thought I'd bring this back so you could see it. What the police officer says is that the guy who guesses right saves them all. Then the question was "Which suspect was able to tell the officer the colour of the hat on his head and why?"... With both of those said right there, it basically shows Moch's little summary "Which suspect saved them all and why"

Basically, when I say this is an EME question, you're looking at "(Whichever suspect was able to tell the officer the colour of the hat on his head and why) I will let you all free." Which is essentially what Moch says later.

Due to popular demand I felt compelled to move this to the Flameboard after all.

My advice to you is to not badmouth this board on the General forums, unless you want to take a time-out. The Flameboard is there for a reason. Got an issue? Take it there.
I'm not going to put a little three line thread for something like "no one reads posts more than 3 lines long, so they get what people say wrong 90% of the time. My advice to you: Summarize your points in such a way that the "leet" morons of the Internet world can read it."

I'm just stating that if Moch had actually READ what I was posting, he wouldn't be so damn stupid. Same with half my posts. People quote them and totally overlook them and they flame me because they don't see:
1) That I was kidding.
2) That I agree with them.
3) The whole story.
4) (Moch's case) That I was right.

Holy crap, how did I not see this thread back on the original board? This is comedy gold!
