Have the times really changed this much?

I think pchan has his knickers in a twist, I'm not entirely sure why.

The Seigan debate is retarded, both sides are talking past one another and being needlessly rude, and all that really matters is that Eor is right on the fact that if you're going to go /NIN, or anything that can cast spells really, you should carry echo drops. It's utterly pointless to continue that "debate."

Hell, about the only person arguing the other side of the OP debate (that is, the only fucktard insisting that it's the mages job to baby idiots through an aggro zone) is WSM, hence my desire to see him burned at the verbal stake.

I'm also not sure when I became a "fb troller."

It would have been just as easy for the rdm to go back and sneak them once as for them to go back and get oils. If they was in such a time critical momment. Now a good melee should have had oils and powder at all times, and should be polite and not demand like this guy did. However that does not mean wsm was not right in a since just in a much more demeanor way that a mage can be nice and give a fellow a sneak every now and then when he forgets. It not like mount z is not that dangerous anyway. You have what 2-3 bombs and 3-4 clots to worry about on the way to the first 3 camps camp? Extra 2 clots if going to the far camp.

So in closing both side are right, neither was nice and situation blew out of porpotion. I know you craving for a good flame but this really is not one.

p.s Why did Myrche not sell them oils again?

Oh as for the seigan debate use the report function ask them to split the topic into one of it own if it bother you that much it what that button is there for.

No. The mage was at camp, its the melee's fault for forgetting and for being cheap with ISP. It is MUCH easier to take the portal back to town than for someone to run through an agro area. And yes a mage should throw a snk/inv if they forget meds but not if the mage is half a zone away, thats just bullshit.

Melee should have owned up to the mistake and been apologetic, NOT demanding... people are so ignorant these days, venting outwards instead of looking inwards. So disappointing.

4 clots and 3 bombs and 1 crawler (forgot abou the 1 crawler earlyer) hardly what I call agro zone. Again I agree melee was wrong too, they should have had oils. However they was correct that it would have been faster for the whm or rdm to come back to hit them with the 1 sneak, then them to zone ...please wait for animation... run all the way across whitegate to the ah ... please wait while loading the menu... buy stack of oils (price history, bid, bid not accepted, bid, bid accepted) exit ah. Run all the way back to the portal, zone ...please wait for animation.. and then make there way to a camp that is now taken anyway.
 
opps hit summit before was done. The last part I agree with. The pld should not have been demanding. Which still begs the question according to the op myrche was in town and hoyle asked him to buy meds and share them with cheech and chong here for a price. Did myrche not do that? and why was he completly ignored?
 
As a mage I don't mind sneak/invis people if they need it AND if it doesn't put me in danger like through a long area where it will most likely wear and I will get killed recasting it on you. However if you know you need it you need to either stay with me or ask me to wait for you. It's really all about being prepared, either bring meds or make sure the mage knows you will need help beforehand. Besides all that you should always have meds, what if the mage dc's and you need to get back? would you rather die and hp than just have meds?

As for the silena thing, this is only in regards to the mire, I only bother to silena the tank or the dd/nin that is taking dmg. All jobs should have echo's for emergency (like if the mage dies) but I wouldn't expect them to be used for every silence. However the imps silence doesn't really last all that long and if you aren't tanking it will prolly wear off sooner than the recast timer takes for me to silena the whole party.

Says who? Animation is a few seconds, you say "all the way across whitegate" like its so huge, any camp zone is far far larger than WG. Your trying to prove a point by making it seem like its such a task to goto the AH.

Here, I can prove a point too like this:

Mage goes to cast snk/inv on self, cant find correct macro for a moment... accidently casts inv first...cancells cast...casts snk...casts inv...runs past a few mobs...snk begins to wear...mage searchs for a safe spot to recast...mage cancel snk icon...mage casts snk again....mage pasts the rest of the mobs....mage casts snk/inv on idiot melee...casts snk/inv on self....both pass a few mobs.. melee:<snk wearing help help>... melee trapped in a corner...mage backtracks to melee...casts spells on him again...casts spells on self.....both travel towards camp again all the way across zone...melee finds out he also forgot tools...melee<oh shit I need to goto AH...can i get a snk?>. Absolutely stupid and there is always a chance someone will get agro and kill self or multiple people.

See, this way sounds long too if you argue with words and not facts. It is possible that going back and casting spells would be faster but its a more variable condition and more human error can happen then just taking your sorry forgetful ass to the AH.
