Heroes Season 2 (Possible Spoilers)

I hate the writer strike ; ; Tim had to rewrite and reshoot the end of episode 11 due to it, since it will now be the last one of the season <.<;

Anyway, from the preview of 2x09, it looks like HRG gets shot and then resurrects... lol. I wonder if he have some kind of power too xD he DID say "You know what I'm capable of..."

I read Claire's ability is used to save someone. Could she possibly be the reason he gets resurrected?

Hmm, possibly. She might know why they want her, and give HRG some of her blood. Thus causing his injury to heal, and thus resurrecting him.

Sounds more like you never had a high opinion of Hiro to begin with, and were just looking for a reason.

No, no. I had great respect for Hiro! That's why it shocked me so much. ; ; He is the only one that acts like heroes are supposed to act since day 1. Peter was second, but the surprise action of Nathan in the season finale put them in a tie. Surprisingly too, DL was the latest to act like a true hero in this last episode (after the Fantastic Four comment from Micah lol).

Jereme, you are right. I better give Hiro a break and watch this develop. If Claire can heal people (I hope it's not resurrection) with her blood, Adam's powers and Claire's are the same. But then it won't explain why Adam has not aged in 400 years and Claire did. Remember that if the power stops growth or slows it down. Claire can't look 18 because she has the powers since she was a baby, because she survived the fire. @_@

Her power might not have fully developed yet. She might need to be able to control it better in order to do the things that Adam/Kensei can do. It could also be comepletely different.

Yeah give Hiro a chance. Even true heroes have a moment of weakness. He just broke down once. He will definately never let it happen again at least not like that. I mean he could have just stayed in the passed with her but he did return knowing he had already caused too much damage.

The healing power might just keep your body at it's physical peak, it'd suck to have to go through eternity in a 16 year-old body. The did that in the highlander series, some little kid was immortal at the age of 10 and couldn't do shit by himself. Claire and Adam most likely do have the same power, since they've already shown other people with duplicate powers, so I don't see any reason why they'd say hers aren't the same as Adam's.

How do you stop an Immortal man?

I do think that Claire and Adam have the same powers and that Claire will eventually stop growing when her brain and body is fully developed. I think this happens in the early 20's for most people and Adam seems to be in that age range.

yep what I said. It makes since and probably will have to be that way unless somehow they kill claire. Also, how come they can't kill Adam? If the Hiatian was near by and they shot him would he just get up after the Hiatian leaves from being close to his body? I am sure the company has tried this.

Hmmm maybe Hiro will drop him in a volcano or some weird stuff.

I'd say her regenerative powers only prevents her body from breaking down, which it does normally through aging past 25. Aging from 1 to 25 just builds up your body and makes it stronger, doesn't actually break it down, so I can't imagine it preventing that.

As Hiro would say, Yaeko was his Uncle Ben.

Just saw the commercial for next week's ep again. In the frame where HRG has someone on the ground kneeling, gun pointed at head, then the frame cuts to Mohinder looking up (not the important part of this "hey, I noticed this"), the man HRG has on the ground is also wearing glasses - Bob :O - right where HRG says "how did you think this was going to end?"

Thus far, Bob's the only other person I've seen with glasses.

Enjoy.

LMAO I was impressed when you mentioned Kenny (the immortal boy who tricked Duncan and Richie into helping him), he was a really bad 800 years old SOB. XD Maybe they have the same power, yea. I'm going too nerdy with this show... I have to remember they won't complicate things too much because the casual viewers and the moms won't watch it. =P

On a down note...this sucks, the writer strike is forcing the season to end on episode 11 :( the 11th episode was re-written to accomidate for the strike. I wish they wouldn't take that route, and just stop airring the episodes until the strike is over, finish the other episodes, not end the season, losing depth and effectiveness that it would have had otherwise.

Hopefully once the strike is over, they will go back and finish the season as it was scripted to be. Either way, it's one hell of a season so far, just sucks to see it end so abruptly, especially since I hear that the show was originally scripted for five FULL seasons, not 4 and a half ....

So Adam is the one who killed Hiro's dad, not surprised. Once they introduced him as Adam and that he was alive and free, I knew it Adam had to be the one to kill him.

All of the other paintings happened, so no more waiting for bennet to die.

They confirmed the "stop aging after a certain point" part of claire/adam's powers; and Matt's powers evolved to the point where he could force a thought into someone's head so he could make them do whatever he wanted. It's going to suck not having any more episodes soon.

Edit: HOLY FUCK they gave Bennet claire's blood and now he's back to life. Definitely wasn't expecting that.

Aye, I couldn't really see the series going on without him so this makes me a happy panda ^_^

Barring the Resurrection of HRG and HRG+West teaming up (One of us, one of Them), the episode felt a little like filler.

Not saying it was bad, but such are the difficulties of having so many story arcs.

Can't wait to see Sylar confront Mohinder next week (woo!)

This is why they can't end it at Episode 11. There is too much to be said and done to put it in 2 hours. Fucking writers....

I liked this episode especially because of the twist at the end. That last picture now makes sense with West and Claire flying off as Bennet on the ground shot. Was nice that it was clear Adam was the killer since, to me, it seemed that it was apparent that he was. I'm slightly irked that we still don't have an idea of what the older generation of heroes did that when matt was question Mrs. P that she fought to not reveal whoever that woman was in the photo. Overall it was a decent episode and I enjoyed...but now I have to wait for next week. That teaser makes me want monday to come that much closer lol.
