Hi.

I actually cut that box in half, and wrapped the shirt in it. So it's a 5-sided box wrapped in three pieces of leftover wrapping paper. A kind of Frankenpresent.

That treatment is already too good for a Bon Jovi T-shirt.

I can post the story, if people are interested. It wasn't a huge deal, I just don't like talking to strangers.

Thank you. ^^

It's been there since October 5th. lol

Sure, let's hear it.

All right. Here's a little back story:

As I mentioned before, I don't like strangers. As a rule, I don't really like people. I find very few people who's company I actually enjoy.

My parents belong to a biker group which meets for dinner every Friday for dinner. As some of you may know, I'm a sucker for good mexican food. My mother told me that they were going to be eating at the best mexican place in Dallas, and invited me to come. It took me a long time to come up with the decision, but it was either go out with them or try and find something edible to cook in the house. Since we needed to go to the grocery store at the time, I went with them. Huge mistake.

It takes us about an hour to get to the place, and as soon as I see it I know something is wrong. It looks like a dive. The inside was even worse, and it was absolutely packed, not so much because it was popular, but it because it was just insanely small inside.

We get in there and find out that they don't take reservations, so no one had set one up and they refuse to seat us until all TWENTY of the other people arrive. By now I am seething, because it's going to be a good 1-2 hours of sitting around, I really needed to be home because my HD had died during the week and was still fixing it at the time, I needed everything ficed before Salvage on Saturday.

Anyway, I go to an out of the way corner by some cabinet to try and hide from the literal mob of people around the entrance. I'm not standing there 5 minutes before 3 women come and stand, I kid you not, two inches from me. I am having to dodge these fuckers' limbs as they flail around during their speech. It's like they don't even pay any fucking attention to their surroundings. I'm not really a person that you don't notice if you're stanidng 2 freaking inches from.

By now I'm hot, angry, hungry and about to lose it with anyone in the general area, so I decide to go outside. It's cold out, which will solve my hot problem, I get away from the people, and I don't have to carry my rather heavy leather coat anymore. Three birds with one stone.

So I go outside and stand by the doors, under the canopy (since it's raining in about 36 degrees). I notice this group of people, probably in their mid 20s, smoking and drinking in the outside area (it wasn't raining very hard). Two of the people were a couple. After about 30 minutes their friends leave and they stand across from me under the canopy. A few minutes later the woman randomly starts speaking.

Her: I'm so excited.

She's looking directly at me, but her head is on her boyfriends shoulder, so I assume she has an earpiece for her cell phone or something. I was wrong.

Her (louder this time, looking at me again): I'm so excited.

Me: Are you talking to me?

Her: Uh huh. I'm so excited, I have to tell the world!

I figure the guy proposed or something, in which case I can understand how you might be excited enough to bring a random stranger in on the conversation.

Me: Why?

Her: I just learned that I passed my test!

Him: She's been studying all week with no sleep.

Her: Yeah, I'd watch him go to bed at 11:00 every night and sleep like a little baby.

At this point, the 6'5" tall guy, who is quite large, walks with extreme haste towards me. As soon as he starts, my instincts start sounding huge warning alarms, and I prepare myself for a quick fight. I didn't tense up, but I was prepared in case anything went south. I didn't want to really fight him, if anything went bad, I planned on hitting him once or twice really fast and getting inside. My father carries a pistol on him at all times, so if things got bad, he'd have my back.

He walks over to me, gets right in my face, his breath reeking of beer and cigarettes and says...

Him: The book was like this thick! (he motioned with his fingers, indicating it to be around 3 inches thick)

Me (trying to sound interested, relieved that he's not going to try anything): Wow, that's really something.

Then the woman walks over.

Her: Yeah, I had to study so hard! It would've looked bad if I'd gotten the promotion and didn't pass the test!

What promotion? I'm thinking. No one mentioned anything about a promotion.

Him: Actually, it would've just meant you'd wasted all the time at the company.

I can't remember the rest of the conversation really, but a few minutes later my mother comes out and tells me the table is ready. Only 10 of the 20 showed up, so we got in early (still waited over an hour).

Anyway, there it is. Not a big deal, like I said, but still unpleasant.

Oh, and to top it all off, the food was horrible. Not to mention the menu outright lies.

I always get a chimi when I go to a mexican place (not including Desperado's). I've had them very small and literally 12 inches long. The menu said it was a 10 inch chimi. If you've ever had On the Border's chimi you know that 10 inches isn't unbelievable. When it arrived, it was about 3 inches long and 2 inches wide.

Now I'm not complaining about the size of the chimi, I'm complaining that the menu said it was 10 inches. It was more than enough food, but I don't like being lied to.

Oh, and they also overcharged us by $20, which we called them on. So yeah, avoid the Blue Goose if you're ever in Dallas.

Sorry to interrupt...but its good that the game likes to group people I don't like in the same group. Check Leccypoo's LS...

Don't you know that they still have showdowns in Texas Rappa? Heaven forbid you show up in the town square at high noon and find you've left your six-shooter at home. :P

I discovered that Juliana loves Santa Claus this weekend. We'd taken her to go see Santa at the mall last week, and apparently she really liked him. On Saturday my parents took me to Aurelio's pizza in Homewood so I could get some real pizza while I was in Chicago (made me realize how much the pizza in VA sucks). They had a guy dressed as Santa there going around to all the tables with kids at them and handing out mini candy canes, and Juli got super excited. Then as we were leaving we saw Santa again sitting down, and Juli runs over and immediately climbs up on his lap, lol.

Juli's first real snow was pretty adorable too. It really started coming down as we were leaving Aurelio's, and Juli starts going "'no! 'no!" until it started to blow into her face. Then she starts spitting, and says totally deadpan "'no cold".

Rofl, I just pointed that out five minutes ago to Will when I was reading a post of Lec's. Glad someone else caught it as well. Funny indeed.

I've been to some great dives before, lol.

o_o
Some dives can be really good, but this wasn't.

He's an ex-Green Beret, Special Forces, Paratrooper, Ski Patrol and Sheriff. He has a Purple Heart from rescuing POWs from the Viet Cong and won the Expert Infantry Badge with only 1 week of study (everyone else in had months), only one other person got that out if his battalion (I think it was battalion, I'm not quite sure). I think he knows what he's doing with a little .38. :P

Don't pick on Texas. ; ;

He started carrying it when he was hired to build a home in the ghetto area of Dallas. After he heard gunshots one day, he carried his gun ever since.

My dad got his purple heart (and some big medal, I dunno, he threw them away while drunk one night) after breaking his back in 4 places in a helicopter crash... then pulling two people out of it while it was on fire. Without being able to move his legs. Doesn't own any guns, but he has a collection of mines in our attic. <_<

There's a picture of him holding a rifle next to Nixon, when he was part of the Secret Service after getting out of the Marines. I gotta remember to get that pic when I go back to MD...

He actually shot a guy that night, but that was unrelated.

I was being facetious, obviously. ;)

I almost forgot one last funny story courtesy of Sofia. Last night we ate dinner out, and as we were getting into the car to drive home Sofia said something about me not closing the car door on her butt, and said "I don't want to be butt-hurt". It made me laugh far more than it should, because it seems to really illustrate the true maturity level of Uzor's favorite insult to fling at Osse.

That's pretty sweet. Too bad I hate too many people to have all of their dots change ><

K, Here's the story...
A long long long time ago, before I was even in Kaizen, I was but a young lass leveling my PLD. One day, a rdm friend of mine invited me to go fishing. I was like, no thanks, I'd rather sit on my thumb and twist, but she urged me on, so I went. She introduced me to a female elvaan so fair (Looking back, what was I thinking), and we hit it off. I was very poor at the time, so when she offered to fly me to Florida for the weekend to meet her I jumped at the chance...this was after a few months of our eeeeeeeee-lationship. I was 24 at the time, she was 35. If you've ever been a 24 year old man, you know, older woman = hot topic.
So I fly in, she picks me up and we're driving around the Orlando area, and she says to me: "Mark, I've got to be honest with you, I'm engaged and have 3 kids" My jaw almost hit the floor, wondering first how she could have hidden this trip, and second how her fiance didn't know about our aparent 'affair'...so since we were already a waze from the airport, I just slept on the VERY edge of the bed, as far away from her as possible. She noted this, saying how 'mature' i was at respecting her, when really, I just didn't wanna fuck up a family.
To be continued...
And now the stunning conclusion!

I told her on the way to the airport that we should stop all communication, as I didn't want to ruin any family life. Needless to say, she didn't take that very well...and when we were in the airport she started crying and screaming...eventually I thought she had settled down and accepted the fact, so I hopped on my flight relieved to have that all done and not worry about it anymore.

I got back to my apartment realizing I had forgotten to turn my cell back on, and was shocked to see I had 15 new messages. You guessed it, all from her. I got to the last of the messages where she was saying "I got a flight into chicago, please come pick me up from o'hare" and was like, You have got to be shitting me...
I called her back and told her not to come, that things were over. She said it was too late, she couldn't cancel her tickets and she was coming. I said fine, just don't expect me at the airport. I didn't go, but she rented a car, drove the 70 minutes or so and somehow found my apartment. When she showed up, it was about midnight...she knocked on my door while crying for 4 hours.

Finally she left (I could tell because Oscar, my dog had stopped growling at the door). I immediately switched phones, had myself moved in the next two months. Each day I would have to blist another character, as she created new mules to send me tells on a daily basis. She still today, 3 years later, sends me messages monthly on myspace trying to get me to reconcile (She's married now btw).

Anyhoo, the above is all true...and I did leave out some other details on her behalf that I don't think are appropriate sharing. Hope you enjoyed!

"Oh, so not only do you lack intelligence, you also lack a sense of humor and a sarcasm meter? GG Idiot. Although I suppose I shouldn't have expected much from you in the first place."

There's my return rate-down from Luzor.

I rated him down in the account hacked thread after he made an anti-US joke to Myrrh when it blatantly states that Myrrh hails from Winnipeg, rofl.

My rate down to him said "And Sweden rules? All you're good for are mediocre hockey players, blonde women, and retards. Which are you?"
