Hi.

June 30th, Klara and I go on a cruise, leaving from Cocoa Beach, so... we won't be able to make this trip.

awww ;; I'ma stowaway in your luggage now for that.

That looks like fun actually, I've always wanted to do one of those things. I'm gonna be all Phoenix Wrightish though and just jump out of my chair, point at someone and go "OBJECTION!!!!"

We need Nae at our table. We'll definitely win.

Also kind of gotta keep in mind that if too many people try to get in at that rate they may figure something is up...the beach hotels in the summer are pretty popular (thus the rate increase)

Carl tells me that the VPMA has blocked off a certain number of rooms, and only those rooms are available at the discount rate. Now his boss is on the VPMA planning board, so he can ask the hotel to increase the number of discounted rooms if we needed, but I dunno if it's actually gonna fly, haha. At the very least I'm gonna get some strange looks for having a mess of friends crash the podiatry conference.

I'm going to open this up to the AG boards as well, but they're not going to know about the discount rates. FuzzyNapalm is like the AAA now. :bb:

I'll mail up pics of my foot surgery, so y'all can be all "I know this guy. Yeah."

Really wish the power company here would quit shutting off our power for no good reason. Filed a formal complaint this time and raised all kinds of hell. I think the "technician" that did it was scared for his life when I came running out the front door and stood in front of his car door so he couldn't get in.

lol you rule rappa. Take it to em!

They turned off your power again?! Why the hell do they keep turning your power off?

Rappa's power is too great that the man is trying to keep him down by shutting off power to his living domicile.

Very few things can compare to the feeling you get when you take a shower then put on clothes freshly cleaned and still warm from the dryer.

The only thing I miss from our shitty ancient apartment in Oak Park IL was the radiator next to the bathtub. Stepping out of the shower and into a towel that's been spread over the radiator was heavenly.

Klara says she can make the Friday night KS99 most likely. She's an HQ WHM. Not me building up my girlfriend, she really is good lol. I may be a little drunk atm though. Ask me again in the morning.

You mean the one you picked out and insisted upon? lol

That was before a leak in the roof caused part of the ceiling to collapse in the dining room (which btw, we were on the 2nd floor of a 3 story building so imagine how bad that had to have been) and it took the landlord 3 weeks to get her "handyman" (read: brother) out there to do a shitty job of fixing it. And before I realized that one of our neighbors had a serious vermin problem, and mice kept getting into our apartment from elsewhere in the building.

The radiators were still awesome, it had great square footage for the price, it had a nice layout, and it was across the street from a grocery store and 2 blocks from the Green Line station. I still like those things, I just didn't like how the place was upkept by the landlord. Plus it was my dream for the longest time to live in a "vintage" apartment. Now that I know what it's really like, I can scratch it off the list, lol.

Yeah, I remember all of those things. It was a great location, just crappy landlords. They were nice, they were honest, but they really did nothing for the buildings they owned. I'm just tweaking you.^^
