Deja, your response about me is a complete copout. Saying I'm "a tool but sometimes gets lucky and is right" not only makes sense, but is a pretty cowardly way to go about saying it. People don't "accidentally" say something correct, they say exactly what they meant to say.
A lot of the more elitist people here seem to think that if you aren't literally out there doing something, you don't know anything about it. I don't have to actively camp Tiamat to know how he is fought. That's like saying a movie critic can't do their job because they don't write movies. It's stupid and makes no sense.
At the end of the day, I know a LOT about this game. I've done almost everything and I've researched a lot of topics that interested me. Just as importantly, I know a lot about Q. I know our community, I know all of the big players, and I know all kinds of things about all of these players. I have friends in every linkshell, friends that talk to my about everything. I know the petty bullshit that goes on every day or the actual successes that happen.
I also am able to do something that seemingly none of the people who've posted here recently can do. I can look at things from the lowest common denominator. The sam/nin topic is the perfect example. The usual trolls hopped into the topic saying I'm dumb for suggesting sams to sub nin when going into a pickup merit pt. Their justification? "Oh I merit with my hnm geared friends all the time subbing war and we get 3987345k xp/minute!". That's great. That also has nothing to do with pickup merit pts. Sometimes the big boys have to hop off their damn high horses and mingle with the commoners. If you come to a merit pt as sam/war and your healer sucks or your other melee can't share hate with you, enjoy your deaths and terrible xp. I'll be laughing about it when I hear about it later.

So now that brings me to Dejavu. Where to start with this guy? For starters, he openly supported Ron Paul. Without going to the realm of RL insults, I'll just say that this fact really speaks volumes for itself about the type of person Dejavu is. Do I think he's a bad person? Not really. Do I think he's a shitty ffxi player? Not at all, never done anything in-game with him. However, I do think he's arrogant, unnecessarily wordy (though so am I), and in general an annoying person on QCDN. He doesn't seem to care about people or arguments that aren't in line with his beliefs. I don't really think that I have a beef with him, though apparently in his eyes I'm a "tool". That's because he's elitist. Already covered that. If he really has some kind of problem with me, I'd love to hear what it really is instead of some wishy-washy bullshit about how I'm right but still somehow a "tool" regardless.
