atleast you don't have to compete with a good 20 other people... I have rare drop as it is and on average 10 other people to lot against.. and my lots suck... *has given up on AF Set 2 sorta.. will still try for it but given up hope*

oh wow seems like this thread has blown the hell up. But to vouche for Ascesnion they try to be fair as they can be. THey are honestly a pretty good bunch of people besides a few members I won't name them. Nasya tries to keep things in order, she doesn't like to have ill blood between anyone. Almaut and Phazen are both great leaders as was Dua and Liefe but they left on other terms. No need to bash these guys even though I've been kicked out of the shell you still don't see me bad mouthing them off. To be honest these guys have a right to get pissed by CC's god knows how many times we got gayed by other LS's stealing our claims. But whatever let this shit go. laters 
Since the question of my control over my members has come up a few times, I guess I will explain how I handle things when people do stupid shit. There are a few members/former members who can vouch for this.
First I tell them off, in ls or on our forums, and tell them to fix the situation to the best of their ability, even if that only means not furthering the damage they have done to themselves and our shell. Usually the person ends up being pretty angry with me for what I say to them, but they don’t fuck up again. Why? Because if they do, they lose their pearl. No one is perfect; none of us have ever claimed to be... I believe that one mistake is fine, as long as it is not repeated, so people do not get kicked after their first 'no-no'. there has been one exception to that rule, I am sure you all can guess what it is, but it is not something I feel needs to be explained to anyone who was not involved.
Jonas has accused me of being childish, and you know what, I would agree with that, though not in the way he means. I am often very naive and very trusting... I am pretty damned gullible too. I don't make sure to tell each person what they can and cannot do because it is lined out in our rules which are available for every member to read, and for the most part I think it is common sense. Basically, I trust all of my members to behave well, and when they don't that is when I get firm.
The purpose of this thread originally was not to say "Look at us, we are better then you", that has never been our mentality. It was to say "wow, its annoying when people do this, don't you think?" The fact that others decided to take offense to it is rather unfortunate.
Now then, a quick reply to a few other issues brought up by Jonas mostly...
I have said "lame" a total of 3 times including this post, so I wonder why you attribute that term to me. I am also curious why it would be a matter of fault to use it too.
"War" was a term that was introduced and started by svina, not us. I believe the exact quote was "The war is on boys!" though there might have been more caps on there. We had been tracking, and killing the joyuese mob for 2-3 spawns prior to the time you are referring too, so it should be no wonder that we were there the following day. I am curious to know who said we were there because you didn't raise us at Fafnir (another example of us being followed by the way, which was the original topic of this thread), because that certainly was not an issue to us. We had other whms, who were alive, and were able to come in to the zone once the dragon was dead. We did have more people come to counter the buffed up alliance you all had made. On a side note, there are always 2 manta's up in that room, except for on the rare occasion the second manta pops just outside of the door (this is not the third by the beast men near there).
In regard to the mention of the Kirin thing being done in response to us doing it, this is what I was TOLD from a participant. I can only go off of such information, thank you for clearing it up. Rumors were never started by us either; we were told you all brought around forty (not fifty) again by someone who was there. So the rumor started with them, AND we didn't spread it. When, on the rare occasion, we discussed things about drgash it was always internally. I would like to know when and where we slandered drgash, because I cannot find a single instance of that.
I would like to know how the ascension attempts at DM were comical, or how you even know what went on in them. Since you have made this into a drgash vs. ascension thread, I am going to take this moment to brag a bit. We defeated DM in 3 tries; it took you all over 10. The first time was difficult because we did not know exactly what to expect, the second time failed b/c we were all having major lag problems, and 2 people DCed in the middle of the fight. The third time went so well it was like clockwork. But whatever, /brag off.
Finally I am curious to know how 10 people (max) managed to destroy theifsguild. Most of our members went with Suzuki or didn't do dynamis at all, and theifsguild was huge, if 10 of the members where from Ascension, and inconsistent, I do not see how that would/could destroy a dynamis ls.

2. Does anyone else notice that there is only one solid incident that people do/can use to try and make us look bad?

I assure you my hat is most definately an Optical, Stiggy can vouch for me i'm sure being we did ours on the same night. (Remember the server shutdown and how one guy lost his cluster? God what a bad day.)
I was in dragonass for some time. I never ran promy with Nasya, only did each of them one time on my war/nin with a 2 party group. Had access to Tavnas the same night the Same night Slacker and crew did, they actually showed up about 20mins after I got there. I find it funny that certain people are making DA out to be this great super shell. It was a bastard child of a couple other shells who merged because there werent enough left to be a full shell, and was a social shell. You guys did hnm but on the side. There were plenty of lowbies in that shell dont try to tell me it was like Acension.
Well that sums up that rant by an idiot dragoon who wishes he was more important than he is. Its nice to get your AF2 by default since your the only drg isnt it ^-^d
Just to throw more fuel in the fire isnt DA dead now? I know most of their leaders quit for wow, and several others are now in NAFB. It sure shows how great and wonderful your shell is when it doesnt even fucking exist anymore.
Phazen can be pompous but he means well, Alm has always been a decent guy, and Nas is too nice for her own good. I don't know who else is left but that's my opinion on the leaders.

truth ^_^; In fact although i havent said so before these 2 are why i left the shell. There were other reasons, but this was the reason I didnt feel like putting up with the other reasons. Glad to see you've promoted someone i was vehemently against inviting to the shell in the first place.
I liked nikki as a person but she really did cause several wipes in Dynamis that she shouldnt have. Fal is a prick but he was right on this occasion. (Don't get me started on Faluzure please i could rant alllll day.)

I think this statement really sums up this thread. I forget who said it in this thread, but this should be made a sticky on the flameboard to show people what a flamebaord is all about.
Now all kidding aside, a unified NA HNM front would be a great idea, though given who the current heads are of the 4 NA HNM LSs are the server, I dont see that happening anytime soon. Sparky and Almaut have shown Sceen Shot proof as to what happens when we all come together. We are ok at 1st, but then all of a sudden 1 avatar destroies EVERYTHING~!
But as much as you all might hate each other (I have talked with most of the leaders to know there is no love lost between them), wouldnt you rather give a giant "Fuck You" to the JP HNM LSs that think they own the server. I mean, wouldn't it be great to put your differences aside and take down the real enemy. I mean, it can be done. I know for a fact that it is possible for us to claim all the HNM on the server, I have seen it 1st hand, but the problem is never having the people to do it everyday.
I mean, think about the possibilties. You want Joyeuse, but not enough LS memebers are on, you can just ask another shell for help and bah, sword. Kirin could be taken down in 30 mins or less with enough ppl swapping in and out. Yes all these can be done with just 1 LS, but it would be SO much more efficient with more people there to help, dont you think.
The only way for this to happen is for the courting to begin and the trust to build or for all the leaders to find someone who they can trust as a mediator who would show no bias towards any one shell. Just some food for though.
The majority of people here can get along no problem, but why let a couple peoples persoanly differences get in the way of something beneficial for everyone.

i think everybody's goals are the same, to have all of the best items and gear for their main jobs, its a shame that petty bickering has to come in and destroy it all, making our goals that much more difficult to reach
