Damn... sleep makes for thread expansion.

But y'know, it would be a good idea to unite like the JP LS have done and dominate key targets... but why can't we? Because certain people refuse to even try and work out problems that probably started over nothing in the first place D:

On several occasions I've been willing to try and work out shit with people but I get shot down. And childish as Nasya may be to ya Jonas, she's probably the only person who's shown a reasonable attitude of neutrality to me.

And...fucking Wyvernpoacher... -_- I'm 0/11 on O. bow if you want ridiculous numbers.
 
I wish Maseki and Sandroi could get together >< then those two LSes could work together.. and I know that Maseki did have some sorta alliance with Ascension.. might just be no CC each other or something.. I dunno

Thanks Svina, you didn't have to say that at all, so I really appreciate that you did.

Since we are talking about how it would be great to set differences aside and all... I just want to say, and this is something I think Svina could probably attest too, I am willing to talk to anyone if they are willing to talk to me. Apparently Jonas has a lot of hate for me, I find this baffling because as I said I have only had 2 direct encounters with him. When I said in a previous post that if he wanted to bring up his grievances with me, or my shell, I would be glad to talk about them, I meant it. Same goes for anyone else.

Since a lot of this thread has been about the inner workings of my shell, since it has been suggested by many that we, or more specifically I, lack greatly in that realm, I will explain a little more about how we work. Currently there are four "officers" including myself. Like any group of leaders we share most of the responsibilities, but for organizational reasons some of them are delegated between us. Kisada, for the moment, is working on recruitment. Lately I have been asking Agris to take care of Gil distribution because my play time is limited right now. Almaut is often responsible for organizing the actual events after the dates have been set. I deal with the political issues between our shell and other people/shells, as well as internal issues.

Serise and I have an agreement in regards to King Behemoth (we won't steal if you don't basically), and we have even been invited to do stuff with him on occasion though generally we turn down the offer. Likewise, our shell has decent relations with one of the leaders in Ailove's shell, Kiray, and we are building up relations with them. As with Serise's group, we have been invited to do stuff with them on a rare occasion, and likewise we generally turn that offer down. Admittedly, neither of these groups are thought well of by many, but that does not make having cordial relations with them a bad idea.

In regards to Maseki, we offered to help him on his first attempt at King Behemoth, and do our best to not cc him. I cannot recall the name atm of the leader, which makes me feel really bad, but with one of the new sky shells (thousandswords maybe) we have had chats and do our best to avoid sky when they are doing their item hunts. Once a group of people informed us that King Behemoth was up and no one was there for the claim. When they suggested that they should be rewarded in some way for telling us we gave them one of the hides that dropped. Might not seem like a lot but I can assure you no such transactions went on when we informed groups of things like KB which we could not take at the time '-';; If I had ever suggested that to lucifar or efrost I bet I would have gotten a rather unkind reply >_< Lastly, when the whole incident with Svina occurred, he and I chatted and tried to work it out as much as we could, considering I was rather removed from the actual incident.

I am not stating these to brag about how great we are, as I am sure I am going to be accused of doing... But rather to show that we, or at least I, are/am not as unreasonable as people seem to like to believe. If you have a problem, or what to make some sort of suggestion/promise with each other to lessen conflict, come to me about it. Send me a PM here if you cannot find me in game. I might not be able to do anything about it, but I have no problem with trying to or at least listening and attempting to clear things up on both sides.

Yanzi, your right, two wrongs do not make a right. However, HNM hunting is a competitive game, and games do not work out well when groups do not play by the same rules. We have never, and I doubt will ever, MPK in retaliation to a group who tries to do so to us (there has been one). If a group blatantly sees no problem with stealing from us though, (this is a bit more on topic) the ethical conduct between each group has been broken, to act according to those standards when the other group will not while valiant is, simply put, stupid.

If a group of people steal King Behemoth from another group, are you saying they shouldn't try to get it back? I doubt it, so let’s go to the second aspect of this scenario. KB pops, the group that stole it from you last time gets it; should you look for an opportunity to steal it from them since you know they would do the same to you? Well, it depends I think... After the first incident some sort of communication between the two groups should be made, in hopes of keeping such an event from occurring again. If they can come to some agreement, great! If attempts at politically solving an issue of poor conduct fail, especially if the offending group is rude as well as un-receptive, I think the group that was stolen from can blamelessly do the same to the group that offended against them... though I myself would still be uncomfortable with the idea.

Oddly enough, it seems that many agreements/relationships between shells, at least on this server, start from such events. Serise and I started to talk to protect ourselves from such occurrences. Ailia and Thamu were harassing a member of my shell, and when I asked them to stop that is when conversation between our shells began. After Varess stole KB from us, and Cashell returned it, I thanked him for having done so. He said "well, it was Varess' mistake, so please do not worry about it." in order to make sure I understood that his shell as a whole did not have ill will towards mine. This brings me back to full circle... once again, if you have an issue to be brought up, tell me about it.
 
It's good you dun MPK ^^ I hate that.. like when those stupid chinese gilsellers in Kuftal tried to MPK me when hunting Amemet >_> blah <_< I'm so happy Guivre popped and raped them of their lives <_< that was funny :twisted:

Do you ever wonder if GM's are ever randomly watching hunts and zones like this and they pop Guivre forcefully to kill people. Its like a guardian angel against gil sellers.

But as much as you all might hate each other (I have talked with most of the leaders to know there is no love lost between them), wouldnt you rather give a giant "Fuck You" to the JP HNM LSs that think they own the server. I mean, wouldn't it be great to put your differences aside and take down the real enemy.

There was a NA who organized all the other high lvl NAs way back when, he supply all the ToD and got something like 10% of the drop even though he did not camp. The JPN got pissed that he was making millions and made a point of CC him and driving him under, this was during the hieght of latencey so he was pretty much screwed. He still plays though to the best of my knowledge. Wish I could remember his name...
 
ya.. seeing as how the Behemoths are over camped now a days... that's hard to imagine XD

it'd be very nice.. but ya.. pride from the both of em gets in the way.. but then I again I dun know the whole story.. right now I dun care.. I want to get my college-ing done and be happy with that more than anything.. FFXI just supposed to be fun for meh^^v
