How long did it take you to hit 75?

going on two years and my highest job is 64 :twisted:

this is mainly because I static with people I know irl and can't play as much as I would like too
 
Well since the topic has already had Raise casted on it.. I've been here since NA release and my highest is level 60 pld. /shrug

Got plenty of other jobs, quests, and things to do.. not in a rush to hit 75
 
I started a Hume BLM about a month or so after the NA release on my wife's account. I got that to lv 20. I enjoyed the game and built a second computer just so we could play together. I got another copy of the game and created Osse.

He's lv 72 BLM, with a few other jobs for fun. I'd never be this high if I hadn't met up with a few people and formed a static. With my job, I just don't have time to seek party for a few hours, a few hours is all I can muster to play most of the time. That, and getting paged in the middle of a party is bad with friends, but worse with strangers who think you are ditching them.

I regret not helping more people in game, but with the amount of time I have to play, it's hard to even farm up some gil.
 
well lol i start reading this tread and was like wait a sec i know some these people have hit 75 then i look at the date :lol:

but since someone decided to bring it up and im bored because cant get on due to plo problems.

I start when FFXI came out played until end of april 04 got to 30 rdm and got drg quest finish and half of smn before I had to go over sea for 6 months. Well didnnt make it back till january 2005 and didnt get back to play ffxi till end of feb 06. 9months total well been playing since then and have not been steady lvling I been doing dynamis and gods of late and have complete rank 10 for sandy. according to the counter I have ruffly 180days but I leave my char on alot so that allitle off. my jobs r
73<with 6k to go till 74>rdm, 37whm,37blm,20thf,20nin,15war,11drk,4smn,9pal,3mnk,10drg, 1sam,1bst,1brd

and enjoying every minute of my rdm :lol:
 
i havent. im 72 and a hair breath from 73 (and Blizzard III). im in no hurry.
 
had FFXI since NA release.. i *could* have hit 75 but.. sadly i just lost interest at 74.. (got my utsusemi Ni on thf so im fine lol).. well.. thats also not the only job i lvl'd.. ive also got 4 jobs going into AF's right now.. and i can access 7 different job's AF weapons.. and only have 3 jobs that can level in valkurm dooms (this was actually a goal of mine, getting all my jobs past this hellhole). um.. i think im doing pretty well. considering over the last couple years ive also taken about 7 months total break from the game.. because of speratic life changes.. last i checked i believe i had over 200 game play hours.. though i think im over 300 now.. because i never check it.. i dont like to depress myself that much tyvm.. lol..

Been playing since NA launch .... not that I couldn't get 75, there's just so many other things to do in this game. Not to mention I usually have a habit of getting my equiptment before I level, and in recent months that equiptment has been quite costly to obtain, and farming takes time.. oh god it does take time @_@;
 
I've been playing about almost 3 months now, my highest is 43 right now, rdm. I'm also lvlling a few other jobs though, blm at 25 and whm at 29 but want to get it to 36 before I lvl rdm some more up to 75.

Can't say how long it'll take me, hopefully not too long... but I also help people out and do quests and stuff too... Total playing time is about 30 days.

Let me see....I have been playing since NA ps2 launch but originally started on Alexander and only WAR to 9 and BLM to 8...

I never really got into it then. Then about July 2004 a few RL friends said they got game but on Gilgamesh so I switch and ended up getting 25 war and 15 MNK.

I have decided to take a break when i had to get Kazham keys. Then around mid- September me and my same friends switch to Quetzalcoatl because one of there rich cousins played on here.

We were in a lvl 60+ LS from day one but some of them were a bunch of asses and never even bothered to help us. I took war to 30 and planned on taking DRK all the way took it to 24 and got sick of it and then decided to be a RNG so took that to 37 in about 2 weeks during Christmas break.

I got sick of the game and took a 3 month break and came back and took RNG to 50. I couldn’t afford silver bullets at the time so I decided I’d start lvling THF just for gilz but I love the job. I lvled thf 1-60 with all AF from about May- end of June. :shock:

I spent about a month after that trying to get a SH and couldn’t so I took a break. I just recently came back a few weeks ago and still trying to get me a SH…it’s impossible. :cry: Once I get it though I am exping start to 70 getting O hat and then straight to 75

Current jobs: 60THF, 50RNG, 40NIN, 37DRK, 30WAR, 25PLD, 15MNK, 15SAM, 10BST, 10DRG, everything else between 3-9

Damn was that a mouthful lol basically my whole FF story :lol:
 
Started Samurai Aug 04, currently 74 and 12k xp to 75 so its been 13.5 months sofar. This includes levelling war from 30-37, thf 0-37, rng 0-37, nin 0-20, capping archery with skillups. Of course missions, crafting, farming, etc as well in that time.
 
Dinged 75 on the 25th of September. :D Been almost a month and still haven't even started merits yet, much less Dynamis or any other endgame stuff lol. But it's ok, I need to level subjobs first, and I'm interested in getting RDM up as well.
 
NA release and counting...but iv quit 2 times(giving things away) and have done 4 chars in that time..
 
I've been playing since US PC release with a couple breaks and have never had a character above 40. :? I have an irritating habit of starting new characters. So far I have taken at least 9 characters through dunes, through sub job, with at least 3 classes up to at least 20. I r dumb.
