I wanted to pick a female character, but I got yelled at when I said I was going to lol. So I decided I'ma stick with Hume(or whatever they call Humes) Male.

Damm right you did. Galka (or whatever they called it) for me. Was considering the Elf people this time. The tall ones not the small ones lol.

I'm really torn on what race to be. On one hand I want to be Taru named PsychoMouse(That was my dream when I joined XI) but the whole Myrrh Limecat Persona has become such a big part of me.

Be deadmau5 (aka deadmouse, and best dj ever!).

If they make the race stats similar to XI then il be hume, as il want to try out range of different classes ^^.

That's what I started thinking about recently. Ann asked me what race I was going to be, and right away I said elvaan. She asked why and I'm like, well cause I like the stats for them (not the only reason, but in 11 I originally picked elvaan because it can potentially be the -best- at drk). But then I realized they might switch it up, maybe making hume the strongest, or galka? Seems to me that galka SHOULD be the strongest, seeing their size. Either way I'm picking either hume or elvaan regardless of stats.

Supposedly they intend to make race less of an issue this time around.

Either way, I'm still going Galka. Or Roegadyn, or however it's spelled.

Yeah, think I'll try something different and go with Roegadyn as well, since they don't look half as bad this time around.

I'll be there and accounted for. I have been off my FFXI addiction since ~ April 2009... I am very much looking forward to the game. Ill play on my Playstation 3 this time around though...

I need a new addiction... and a house with an internet connections worth a damn.

Back from the dead Buddy! You may just have to delete my XI toon when you get to town because I just can't. Let me give my shit away though first lol

Wow see a lot of old names in this thread, glad to see some old school ffxi people going to ffxiv.

I personally can't wait for XIV, I played ffxi for 5 years and loved almost every minute of my experience. There were a few bad times, but looking back I realize that most of it was due to just getting bored of the game.

So hopefully XIV can hold my attention for 5 more years^^

I won't be picking Mithra/Miqo'te this time around though, nothing sucks more than getting hit on by another dude... :)
