How many of you are planning to play FFXIV?

Yeah I'm kinda worried my PC wont run it either. I'd rather not buy a new one, and I very much dislike ps3. Is it coming out for 360?
 
At the moment no, it may end up later, but I think at launch it'll be for PC and PS3.
 
Save $300 and get a new mobo, 2gb of ram and a GPU (Im assuming everyone has the equivalent of pentium 4 or greater).

I will definately be buying this game on release, and im buying FFXIII because of the speculation to enter the beta "Sweepstakes" from a form on the game.

Its looking to be a hell of a clean game.
 
I may give it a try and see what all the fuss is about. Playing Aion now though and really enjoying it :)
 
I just got a new graphics card for AION but I will probably need to invest in a new power supply and maybe upgrade my CPU.
 
I plan on playing the crap out of it. :)
The lip service so far is selling me.

At first I was like :D, but then I was like :( when I saw it was just a newsletter that they now accept applicants for beta =(

Evil SE is evil. Don't get my hopes up like that and crush it ; ;

It looks interesting and fun. Like others though, I don't think I'll be as hardcore either. I kind of wish they could've just advanced FFXI greatly, but the stupid limitations.

I signed up for the beta a few days ago, so hopefully I get handpicked to try that out. I think I'll stay on FFXI too, if I do decide to play even that for a while since I just returned. I want to see where 14 will go.

Honestly, I am not sure if I'm even going to try it. Guild Wars 2 keeps looking cooler and cooler to me. I might try it if Hornless does but other than that I'll probably just wait for Guild Wars 2. I miss friends from the game but not all the crap that came with FFXI.

I know but like others have said, I'm worried about it being the same old same old especially since one of their reasonings of making the game was basically "PS2 limitations." If the improvements are enough to make me like it then maybe but right now I'm not sold on it. Don't get me wrong, I loved my time in FFXI but not looking to doing it again if there aren't enough improvements.

You can even choose which UNDERWEAR you want them to wear. What's not to like?!

Although it makes me wonder if, since we can choose bust size and underwear design will also allow us to edit junk size and male underwear.

Either way, with the exception of FFXI, I always play female characters as they're imo generally better looking than the males. I'm thinking I'm sticking to a female this time too :3 Probably going by my Aion name Fae. Alternatively, Imira.

There is going to be more males playing female characters in this game than there were in ffxi. Do you guys really enjoy being hit on by creepers?
 
Its quite fun to tell said creeps that they're gay for hitting on a guy.

It usually creeps them out, especially since most of them are no more than 15 and homophobes.
