Maybe he was on his way to a lv 20 cap fight and was changing on the way, and on the subject of gear many levels lower I've seen leaping boots on lv 50 warriors. We cant always judge the player by their gear I've seen way too many flames like that and it gets boring really. Quite often the clothes dont' maketh the man.

Lol he could of at least afforded a centurion body those things are probably as cheap as the lizard jerkin. I guess some people want to get their moneys worth out of a single piece of gear, maybe an occasional player that just logs on gears up and takes an invite.

but seriously, you can at least gear yourself with something better. 5k isn't going to hurt you if you buy some crappy lvl 40-50 piece. Its just the problem these days, some people just don't give two shits anymore. I agree on the part where gear doesn't always make the job uber but you can at least make the effort to keep it updated to the bare minimum; meaning 5 or so levels below you, not 20 or 30
