I made our Nyzul Isle static party better!

Wow, a Nyzul Isle flame that actually has some merit. {All right!} Well, accidental lots DO happen, we've all seen it/done it at some point in our game career, given the circumstances point otherwise. True, if you are in a Nyzul static, there is no room for a self-preservationist attitude. Everytime my static goes in, we KNOW the chances for death are high, and hell, some of us will sac pull all for the sake of getting the win.

True JP, Maddash may have done a good job at the events you run with him/her, but it doesnt guarantee their ability in an event that is a bit more rushed. Would be nice to hear from both Maddash and Image to see their side to all this.

Heh. no problem. You hear that Dancingweapon? You're off limits :) . Yeah he might have THF. I know he mostly showed up as a sam but there were nights were he was not a sam. I never ever bothered to /check him and find out what he was when he was non-sam. He had daggers out so it might have been thf.

I don't lead/run this thing, and it is Maddash so I never bothered to check his job on non sam days. He mostly showed up as a sam though.

Not to sound like a dick but if you're going to flame someone about ninja lotting (admittedly that wasn't the only topic in this flame) then you better be damm sure to have your facts there.

The more you post the less valid the original post becomes.

No problem. Though I think the more I post the more I bolster the reasons for /telling him "I want to replace you." Ninja lotting items isn't all that hyper-serious of an issue. He's not even a bad guy. He's polite. He shows up on time.

He's just a suck-ass sam. Most of this is a bunch of little things that added together makes it really really suck. Each individual thing by itself doesn't seem so bad. Though aquiring every single item that drops whether or not he's on the list is just....dunno at a loss for the words.

Well in that case you should flame her for being a crappy SAM. Don't add a lot of other crap you're not sure about to make your flame come off stronger.

But he took the armband nearly every time and didn't answer you when you asked about it and "accidently" got 2/5 of a set? Fool me once shame on me fool me twice...

Correct me if I'm wrong about the number of occurences, but that kinda seems fishy.

I think what he meant was, they could stand Maddash being a suck ass SAM, what they couldnt stand was all the ADDED stuff that was going on, i.e. unapproved lots, self-preservationist attitude, etc.

No, he accidentally got 1 of them. The other went free lot if I remember correctly. And we just found out that Maddash did in fact have the job to wear both items.

And like we said. Who cares about the armband? I mean it's not a big deal at all.

I personally have never had anything but good experience with both Maddash and Image. I'm not sure the armband is anything to complain about? If it really bothered you did you ever ask to get the band? As for the whole meditate thing, sure maybe they should have known... but how do you learn if you don't ask?

Meditate is level 30.
AF head is 60.
Relic hands are 73.

By 75, I think he would have notice that his meditates were going higher than at least 100, and have found out why. I'd laugh if he didn't know by then as well. Because he's your friend and in your opinion a good WHM doesn't mean he doesn't need to know the basics of his other jobs, and it's HIS responsibilty to find these things out.

And like we said. Who cares about the armband? I mean it's not a big deal at all.

It usually isn't a big deal, but when someone is ALWAYS grabbing it even though someone else in the party may be in bigger need of added tokens, it is pretty selfish. The static I run with usually gives the armband to the person with the lowest amount of tokens in the group.

On it's own, irrelevant. In addition to being a King Kong-sized prick 24/7? Worthwhile mentioning it to strengthen the poster's argument.

And most of them individual things you stated were wrong or not even a big deal at all. And I don't agree. Ninja lotting items is serious business (ucwutididthar) but accidents do happen.

No that's the opposite. Apparently they didn't mind ninja lotting at all. Just the "suck ass SAM" part.

yeah we and I mean the entire static did mind about the Ninja lotting (accidental or real). We just decided to handle it by Quartermastering the drops. We did let it go on his word that it was an accident. I can't speak for the group but I don't believe him at all.

They left, according to Nico., because of the rule to quartermaster based off of his prior actions. We spam the Nyzul twice a week and I know everyone who works hard in our group WILL get our items. So in that regard, I don't see it as Hyper-serious of an issue. I'm just tired of all of the little things he does that added up to that night.

He left. We got a smoother group. We win. I'm not sure about his ambitions and if he "won" or not but it was not a favorable situation for anybody regardless of the semantics.

So he got 2/5 Denali from "accidents".

No, he accidentally got 1 of them.

I was just going based on what Duff said.

I was merely mentioning armbands because it was said that he lotted them with no response when asked. Just like ??? items, it doesn't matter what was lotted, it matters how the lotter went about it.

Like I said... yeah maybe they should have known. I agree it is their responsibility to find things out. They were asking they were trying to find out. Laugh all you want, but I'm sure you've asked questions in the game too that maybe others have laughed because "you should have known that".
I love your assumptions here: that my opinion is they're a good whm. (where did I say that?) Or that I think they don't need to know the basics of their other jobs. I didn't say either of those things, you assume they're my friend, that's fine. I do consider them a friend they've never wronged me, both Maddash and Image have been nothing but kind and helpful to me when I played. I've always had good experiences with them. Just because you personally don't like me and hold a grudge for silly things, don't try to put words in my mouth. Thanks! ;)

Hold up pumpkin, I think you're getting ahead of yourself. Who are you? Why do I personally not like you? What grudge do I hold against you? Where did I try and put words in your mouth?

1) I don't know who you are. If you know who I am, that's fine, I quote your post and responded with my own comments, nothing more, nothing less.

2) I'd say you saying you'd had nothing but good experiences with the player meant that you were somewhat a friend of theirs. Considering you said in your response that I have quoted "I do considewr them a friend", I fail to see your beef, as my assumption has been proven correct.

3) There's nothing wrong with questions. Everyone learns how to play this game from experiences and asking other players. That's slightly different from a 75 SAM in Nyzul who should know about the ability in question and equipment affecting said ability well before 75. Also, it's not the stand-alone problem of someone asking a question; they just might not have known. It's this in addition to everything else he had done; similar to what I said about the armband, if you saw what I said past my grudge-based drivel.

It's pretty clear to see that this guy, on his SAM at least, was an idiot on more than one count. Some on the things he did had nothing to do with his job, such as the armband, ninja-lotting etc., casting a rather large shadow over the this player's reputations so far...

lol @ Pumpkin... Ok Shnookums

1-If you freak out on people over silly stuff enough that you can't even remember who you spazz on that's your problem not mine.

2- Yup, I said I consider them my friend, just as I said "that's fine" about you assuming that. So obviously you fail to see the beef there, as there is none. Perhaps you'd like to address the other two assumptions you made instead?

3- I agree they should have known, but no harm in asking, not everyone are die hard players who look up formulas and research for hours. You bring up the band thing again, which to many is a very trivial thing, but could be annoying to others. Also the "ninja lotting" they believed Maddash didn't have a job for that set of gear, which now is being said they do, so yeah maybe it sucks if they did accidentally lot on the item they weren't supposed to. A lot of this sounds like little things adding up and being annoying mixed in with some misunderstandings. Statics can grate on nerves quickly if people don't mesh well. I don't think either side were malicious more so misunderstood and annoying to each other.

Your opinion is they're an idiot. That's fine you're entitled to your opinion. Just as I am entitled to mine.

Hey BB, have you ever done anything with Maddash?

Can't say I recall exactly who it is, but the name Maddash rings up as something negative to me.
Man, it's been too long.

Wow, a Nyzul Isle flame that actually has some merit. {All right!}

We get it, your friends with Dragonius. -_-
Really though, both flames are a warning towards a player, sure this one has a kinda...a better reason to avoid Maddash but you really dont have to mention it again and again.

From my experience running a Nyzul static is that one player can make or break a Nyzul static. Also laziness or not paying attention can cost you runs as well. So I know your pain Duffman. I am not going to use any names, but from my many many months of leading a Nyzul static I have seen where one member left or didn't show up for a week. We would run better with just 5 or a replacement. I remember for a long period of time we ran with just five and everything went well. Our roster during that time was me(sam), Diotema(mnk), Pocketrockets(blm or whm), Arelia(brd), and Meikolia(whm or blm). If you run better with 5 without him than yes he was holding you guys back. I never done anything with the mentioned player in the game, but if they are running better now with 5 or with another sam than the proof is in the pudding.
